Hey all,
quick check in...worked today...as usual..but took tomorrow off as my labor day holiday paid...so that I will be off three days in row..and school starts tomorrow..and have to go with my 3 year old to her school for first day. She is attending a school for disibilities...(speech delayed)

anyhow, main concern..please keep my sister Madeline in your prayers....the sister my Maddie is named after...she is STILL fighting cancer...not sure when last updated you guys...but had moved to her liver...and after removing half...eventually more cancer in liver..and now in lungs....she was taken off any chemo...as she has been on all kinds they think would help..and didnt help...

so now recently she started in a experimental drug..testing..with a university....and she is a bit down...as her lung functioning tests now arent passing to take next doses...and they think good chance she wont be able to keep taking the test drug....also she is now experiencing pain in liver area of body.....

so keep prayers coming,, she is always so chipper...and fights it like hard....but the cancer is fighting hard too..:(

Oh, Sara....I'm so sorry about your sister. I'll keep her in my prayers. Life can be so difficult to swallow at times....

I hope your little one has a good first day of school. Is she excited? My boys were always so happy and excited to go...it was me that was a bundle of nerves! :rolleyes: I wish now I had worried less and enjoyed it more. I'll never have that time again.

Sarah, I am so sorry to hear that your sister is haiving more problems. Life really does suck sometimes. Hope your daughter likes school.

My cable and internet have been down since late yesterdat afternoon, and it has been driving me crazy. My mom keeps calling me to give me updates on the hurricane and the convention. I just called her to tell her she can stop.:D. She was driving me a wee bit crazy.

Now I need to go back and read about Kay's babies.

uggg this annoying urgeeeee.....well as you know...I was told UTI before trip...did the antibiotics...was good after...then soon after meds done..started the urge at times...usually as I am done urinating...feel like have to....anyhow..went back in the other day...with concern for the itching..and then the urge....they did another urine sample...and said..clear...

I asked about the urge, he didnt give much advice...talked about what I brought up kegels..and maybe to do with bladder wall....but he didnt think so....but then advised that kegels only help things if done like tons..like half hour twice a day worth..and really focused ...said if that helps it would only take two weeks of that amount....not sure he knew much lol....wasnt my dr...

I see my dr in three weeks or so...for regular checkup...but if the urge thing keeps up....may have to call once again...I wasnt having it today..but woke from a nap...went pee...then got up...and now feel like I could pee my pants...urge is strong.....even though no pee to go...

does that make sense..sorry so much info..hahaa...

thanks for the prayers for Madeline..just got up from a short nap wiht baby on my lap...that is always sweet....and the nap was good..maybe not long enough hehehe...

very hot here for sept 1st..I was really hot during nap...hoping the urge thing isnt neurological...haha but hey the neuros say nothing I have is neurological...so I am in the clear I bet lol....

Sorry to hear about your sis Sarah, will keep her in my prayers. I just got a phone fussing at from Sandy LOL for working out in the heat. I cannot grasp or pick anything up with my right hand and the typing isn't so great either! Dummy me!

yes Nae Nae, heat is a killer....hubby when leaving for work nudged me, said how cute the baby and I are sleeping on the couch..and tried to get me awake to move up to our bedroom with the A/C...as the house down here is pretty warm...but the sleep was feeling too good I guess...I hardly remember him doin that hehe...

Sarah, prayers for for your sister going up. The urge sounds like bladder spasms. Jim gets them all the time with a UTI but glad yours is clear. He also takes Oxybutinin for bladder spasms. I wonder if you could use something like that?

thanks sandy, it is bothersome...but not enough so far to think meds...as been trying to get used to the neurontin and wondering if having side effects from it....my emotions....

but I will keep eye on the problem...hope Jims UTIs slow down...no fun ...

Docs are right about the number of krugels. :rolleyes: Helps me some, but not all the time. Hope the doc can figure this stuff out for ya.

Renee, I've done that before and gotten the rolling eyes from my hubby about leaving my cooling stuff at home. :D Hope you're able to cool down and feel better soon. :hug:

Got some stuff done, but not as much as I would've liked. Had to run outside in the heat, and got wiped out. Took a nap and it helped a little. My sweetie even cooked dinner. :)

Update on MIL. The surgery is for compression of the disks in her back. they think they're going to have to place plates in. It seems to be a combo of ostreoporosis (sp?) and the fact she's had to be on predisone for the better part of a decade due to really bad asthma. (ten to one the ostreo is caused by the predisone too). We'll find out tomorrow when it's going to take place.
