And speaking of the wicked witch.........I have been having horrible clonic spasms for the past 3 days from my butt down to my ankles the Zanaflex is not helping....anyhoo we were at an open house at my sons school tonight and I was visiting with a woman I worked with for years at the hospital...she is now disabled and not working, and she asked why I was walking funny and I told her that I have MS and it is from spasms, OMG you would have thought I suggested we go out and rob a bank, when we got to the car my mom said GD-it why did you tell that woman you have MS? Couldn't you have just kept your mouth shut, what if she tells someone else? I'm like ummmm I don't have leprosy for God's sake! GRRRRRRR And I almost hit two baby deer on the way there and on the way home so now she thinks I can't drive....um hello they were in the middle of the street! LOL Yall keep prayin realllllly hard that I get a job soon!

I'm so sorry you have to put up with this behavior, Renee. How awful it must be for her to be like that....to have no compassion for another human being in pain....not to mention that this other person is her daughter!!! I really hope you get this job (or ANY job for that matter at this point!!).
I hope that friend of yours does tell someone....everyone! Maybe these other people will be good contacts and help you find a job and a place of your own. You'll probably discover that there's someone else with MS, too, in the group and hopefully you can find some support there. thanks for the 'good night' wishes, Frank ... the last two nights I've been taking Tylonel PM so I would sleep thru more than 2-3 hours, then up, sleep another 2-3 hrs .. but, I know I can't take these every night .. it's sure nice to sleep thru 7 tho! Holly- DD is sixteen and not a morning person. The challenge is getting her moving in the morning. After that she pretty much keeps chugging away on her homeschool work till it is done.
NaeNae- About your mom... :eek: :eek: :eek: Got my fingers and toes crossed hoping for a really good job escape for you. My insight- DH see his new doc today. He has been off his meds since Sunday and now the withdrawal carp is flu like carp. He is a bit cranky today too. If I was in his shoes I would be more than a little cranky. Yes his meds arrived but he wants off as many as possible so he decided with the doc appt this soon he would wade out the withdrawal. He hopes doc reduces the number of meds for him or at least reduces the doseages. Really looking forward to his new doc's report. As for me it is grocery fetching day so I'll do that and keep chippping away at the house mess. DH called this morning to say we are spending the weekend of his September b-day at a rented cottage at a favorite amusement park. Hope it doesn't rain on our parade, er, fun. Stuff to do better get moving... Have a great day everyone! |

Weave, hope DH's appointment at the doc goes well. Kay, LOL - I didn't wake up in time to start a slow cooker recipe. If I started now, we wouldn't be eating until 9pm. Oh well, there's always tomorrow. ;) ~~~~~~~ LOL - not much to update. woke up late, late, late this morning. Apparently I'm sleeping deeper when I do finally zonk out, 'cuz even the kitties pleas for food didn't wake me. :D Trying to figure out what to do today once I wake up fully. Hey everyone! Mowing the yard today and getting Jim up for a bit. We haven't heard what bug he has yet but maybe later today or tomorrow. The bactrim is doing it's job so we'll see.
Renee, you'd think she'd understand but there is nothing you can do at this point. Just try to ignore her and get out of there fast. Praying the job comes through. Sounds like she thinks someone will say something and that will prevent you from getting a job. Ignorance is bliss they say but in her case it's not. Stay cool today everyone. It's hot hot hot! |
