FinLady- Thanks for the hug. Sadly I am so numb I barely feel anything right now.

Frank- If counseling was going to fix this it would have long ago. Been there, done that off and on for 20 years, not going anywhere near it again. The only counseling I'm interested in right now is of the legal/lawyer kind minus the probably future ex. Sadly I can't afford it. Not sure I can not afford it either.

I'm going to post on the spiritual forum and try to bounce between those two posts when I can lurk/post. Carry on...

Sorry for all the relationship troubles, Weave. Medical and financial problems can sure test even the best of unions.

Do you have legal aid in your state? Sometimes you can get reduced fees or a sliding scale fee based on your situation.

I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. Hope the stress level is kept at least at a minimum for you.

Sorry, Frank.....:o

I am just so sick and tired of warm, muggy temps. I'm ready for some crisp, cool days.

If I could swing it (financially as well as physically) I'd move farther north. But....if it meant leaving one or both of my boys here in GA then I'd never go. I know they're grown but we're all close and I know it would stress me out completely.

I'd love to live in Vermont or New Hampshire.

I think we have legal aid in our area. I might look into that. Thanks for the prayers. My stress level is through the moon.

Just to make clear- The plan is to live in the same house /different floors until our youngest child graduates from high school or we can't stand another day together which ever comes first. Once we are divorced we would live in separate houses. Probably separate states.

I hope it works out for you. Sometimes just knowing that there is a plan in place (living in the same house until a certain date) makes it easier to adapt to.

Weave, hopefully you find a lawyer as wonderful as mine, I did not find her thru legal aid but I only paid her like 400 bucks, the rest she said not to worry about, that she enjoyed winning one for the good guys at times! I feel your pain as I am still going thru it myself. PM me if you need an ear. HUGS

Sarah- and stay positive for yourself and your parents. I wish you and your sister were closer too. I can't imagine if that happened to my sissy while she lives in Alabama. My heart aches for you. I am very close to my sissy.

Vonn - check this out:

How cool is that??? Jim and I want one!

Renee - I am so sorry but you did know that would probably happen. Why don't you put an ad in the paper offering your services as a home health care provider? Maybe something will come through on the private market then.

Tammy - I started shopping for xmas already! I am doing baskets for my family with dishtowels, candy dish and spreaders. I'll probably put some sort of baking mix in there too. I am sorry your having so much pain. I wish we were near because I would come over and help with what I could.

Fin - stay out of that heat! It is miserable today and worse later. BUT, the next week is going to awesome!!!! 70's!!!!!!!

Kay
- Your heart is so big and I know your fighting the heartbreak. Some say it's a daily thing but when your as close to your animals as you are you can't help but feel pain.

Kitty - Yes, please keep the temps to at least 60. lol We're having 70's this next week. I hope you get relief from the storms but no damage. My sister said the winds are helping keep the temps in check in Alabama.

Char- have fun on your trip! Say hi to everyone for us and stay safe. Don't worry about bf, your right, it may do him some good.

Weave- to you too. I suspected something like this when you posted before. I hope you both can find a way to make this work and can get along. You are doing what is best for you right now. I think seeking legal advice is a good thing so that he can't pull the rug out from under you later though.

Trish- how are you today? How are your daughters?

Gosh, I hope I didn't miss anyone. I had to copy paste to remember everyone. lol Jim is hanging in there. We're not sure if the meds are working yet since it's only day 3. I don't remember if I told you guys but we are trying Macrobid again. Jim got really sick from it before but it's the only oral med he can take with these bugs. If it doesn't work or he gets sick he has to go into the hospital for three days to get IV meds. :(

It's too hot to do anything today. Jim and I are going to venture out tomorrow for some paint and supplies. I have the living room, kitchen and basement to paint and maybe the upper bedroom and bathroom. I suck at picking paint colors since I am a little color blind but Jim will help. He's good at that. I am thinking khaki colors and warm greens? We have all wood trim so we need warm colors. I used to have white trim and could get away with cool colors. Not so much anymore. :)

That's it. Jim just said "Man, I feel good today." Whoohoo!

yeahbut 09-02-2008 01:26 PM

Yeah Jim!! Glad you are feeling good, keep it up buddy!!!

It has hit 77 today so I decided in honor of all you I will put on a pair of shorts..... since no one else is here to see my short fat white legs!

I have sooooo much to do before my trip but my body is saying you need a nap! so I may go take a power nap to get me moving once again. I need a secretary - anyone up for it?

Have a great afternoon talk to you later....
