Hey all

Frank...get better soon....dont flirt too much with the nurses..and DEBBIE..we love you...and take care of YOU while he is there....

hugss all

I am so bummed I missed it....hubby brought home a clip from newspaper....about a MS conference in Marquette, MI...hour away....and it talked about it being saturday 11-3pm..call to register or walkins welcome..but no date......it was with Dr Randall Shapiro.....talking about sxs..and dealing with sxs...thought as hubby did...doesnt hurt to talk about that..even without me being dxed..as my sxs are similar....

so I call the number...MS society number listed...she couldnt find anything...then she found it...it was OCtober 18th...two days ago...crap....

well gotta get ready, heading out to Mikaylas last bball game...time flies...

In a bit of a downer mood still...just about dealing with work...thinking of work more than time with the kids....family....family is more important....hugsss all, sarah

Frank,

I wondered about you painting the other day. Do what your wife and the nurses say so you can get well and go home. Deb...

Kay,

What a relief to know you have a high, dry, flat property. That sure is a lot of water down there, I hope for the locals' sake it will soak in soon.

Sarah,

Everybody,

I hope you all had a good Monday... :grouphug:

My update:

Nothing new except that I get Thursday off so I can join in on the DeKalb festivities. :D I'm looking forward to seeing Sandy & Jim, AMN, DM and maybe Frank and Deb if Frank gets better soon.

I mowed the lawn yesterday and worked today. I need to get rested up for Thursday, lol.

Frank said he's not on the 3rd floor where all the nurses know him so no flirting for him. hahahaha

whoo hoo !! on getting the day off for the GTG !!

and yeah, it's raining and raining still...

yep, I'm up on a hill (high!) but it's a far cry from dry.

I just came back in from the evening critter-feeding-extravaganza, and the ground is thoroughly saturated.

the duckies appeared to be afraid of my umbrella, so I closed it, and stood under a huge mango tree to stay semi-dry while I passed out the food...

just when I had over a hundred ducks at my feet gobbling cabbage and whole corn, my auto-open umbrella SPRANG open, and the entire flock FLED into the pond, like... WHOOOOOSH !!

anyway, got everybody done, the geese, the chickies, the guinea pigs, the rabbits, the turkeys, slip-sliding the whole way...and oh, 'm sooooooooooooo tired!

oh,I feel another song coming on:

Slip sliding away,
Slip sliding away
You know the nearer your destination,
The more you slip sliding away

hubby's out milking Leeloo and Lilah now, and dinner is simmering on the stove...

that's your silly-goose update from Darwin Farm, on an "island" deep in the rainforest, in the RAIN !!

:grouphug:
