Morning all! My youngest son walked out of the house yesterday with fake blood all over him. It kind of creeped us out because it looked so real. He kept coming in with more blood and asking us how he looked. He dressed as a Pizza Hut worker who was killed. We told him to go and have fun and please not to turn that blood to real. I did tell him to not get pulled over or have a minor fender bender because if he got out of that car looking like he did he'd give the other driver or cop a heart attack. hahahaha

I plan to put the basement back together today and watch CNN all day. I have anxiety and want this election to be over. Seems it's the longest election ever doesn't it?

Frank, did you give the kids candy before you sent them back to their mom? *standing with hands on hip and tapping foot* lol

Renee, pics, we need pics. lol

Cindy, how cute! That's kind of tugged at my heart about her looking for your dad.

Everyone else have a great day. The weather here is making me think it's spring! Tuesday is going to be beautiful and we hope we win. But this morning they said the five people will be picked at random. Sheesh, then why ask us to tell our story? Ugh.

Hi all! Haven't been online for a few days, so thought I'd pop in and say Hello! We didn't have one single trick or treater, but we do live out of town on a major hwy. However, when we had our Halloween trick or treat at the campground 2 wks ago, we had 183 kids~~

It was alot of fun. Beautiful weather here in Illinois!! I love it!!

Have a good wkend everyone...:grouphug:

Sandy no I didnt they were too old in my book,

and a few others came up I looked at them showed them how much candy we had left and said sorry saving it for the younger ones, we are talking like 18 yr olds kids:eek:

howdy DM weather yesterday was awesome here in Illinois, tomorrow and monday are to be nice ones again

sabimax 11-01-2008 03:22 PM

lol...at the pizza hut worker....
and good for you frank with those kids who are too old anyhow to trick or treat....same with the ladies out..wow....

best costumes I have seen are some of my crew that work for me....well one I didnt see but he shared on his phone camera a picture of the created costumes....him and his girlfriend were going out to party as tetris pieces...and he made them with McD fry boxes we saved for him./...they were cool....

the other character....that works for me, came to work (as I told them they can dress up...) as a Culvers worker..... well no culvers around..so told him it was ok ....lol...

Maddie even walked up to a few houses toting a pumpkin to fill with candy...she loved the idea once she realized Ciara was getting candy...such a young age to learn...hehehehe

Well, heading I think to church...not sure up to it, with the handfuls...the two oldest alter serve...either way...then to my parents, for dinner....my mom is making spagetti my favorite...

well gotta run, hugssss,sarah

I had a total of 11 trick or treaters. I gave them lots of candy and still have a big bowl full.

What to do...what to do..."putting back of hand to forhead" :p:D:p

We used to get lots and lots of kids, even to the point last year that I sent daughter out to buy more candy. I live in a cul de sac and there were only 3 of us handing out candy so I am sure alot of parents didn't want to walk all the way down the street for 3 houses.

THere is a big church a half mile away that had a huge carnival and concert so hopefully lots of kids got to go there and have fun...Sue

there was a big Halloween Concert and Party nearby,

but we were too gosh darn tuckered out to go, after the last couple of days, (duck-house-mucking, stall-cleaning, shots for the goat with the (almost healed!) abscess, and birthing guinea pigs (six!), and modifying Becky Bacon's pen (she's due any minute!), and cleaning up after the month of storms, and restocking all our feed, and going to the Capitol (to the US Embassy) to VOTE...

:D:p:D

so, all we're good for is naps, and more naps, lol!

DM 11-01-2008 07:29 PM

Holy Cow, errrr I mean Holy Goat Kay! I'm pooped out just reading how busy you are.

I really admire the way you keep things going w/your animals and land. You are THE woman!!!! Take care and put your feet up; you deserve it.

lol frank....thanks for sharing the pics....

if I knew how..I would share the ones of the youngest two...Ciara was a cat...white Marie from the Aristicats costume....(handme down from the girls I nannied...might have been expensive costume when they first bought it..but now thru three of my girls after two of theirs...)

and Maddie was a duck...just a pull over your jacket with duck hood thing...cute...

tired out...ran out and spent a half hour with hubby on his work break...long drive...but he had forgotten somethign he had needed at work..so I brought it out..and visited in snack shop of the casino with him.

I did get to church, my mom kept the youngest two...so i could just sit quietly in church...good thing she did...between a limp as my leg was weak or numb like...and a bit of teary eyes during one song at church that got me thinking of my sister....good I didnt have the little two...

hugsss and night all..dont forget to turn your clocks back, hugss, sarah

Good Morning! We're taking care of some chores today....replacing the furnace filter and some screens on the sunroom. Kevin is going out to Home Depot for me soon. Matt is working a part time at a church...directing traffic or something.

We're planning to grill out tonight but will need to make sure to have the back porch lights on....it'll be dark at 6:30 PM!! Yea!! i love it!! :o

I found a recipe for stuffed pork chops and broccoli pasta slaw on The Food Network website that I want to try. It sounds so good!! I'll go to the grocery tomorrow to get a few things I need and get all the ingredients for that dinner. If it turns out well I'll post the recipe!

Well, gotta run. Laundry just finished drying so I need to go fold!

Have a good day everyone! :grouphug:
