I'm so glad that your surgery can wait until after the holidays. I know that must be a relief to you. I hope your burn feels better....I've gotten steam burns before and I know how much they hurt. I can't imagine pouring boiling water on that "area"...:eek:. Take care of it!

well, I made it .. and my sx kicked in perfectly for the doc to see my funny walking, etc .. and she is very supportive in helping me with the disability!! she's filling out the papers I left with her (I left my answers for her to help with where I'm at) ..

long day .. no provigil samples, but more lyrica samples and Rx .. going to try Melonatin(??) to help with sleeping .. OTC in the herbal section that she said I should try - I got the extra strength ... and got it for BOGO free - like a 3 month supply for $8 ...

I'm pooped ... thanks for everyone's well wishes and thoughts/prayers - and thanks for being here and helping me from going bonkers since the dx!! :)

well I will be seeing dr assistant tomorrow...they called today...I mentioned my sxs and how last time she had me do prednisone taper..and if they could check if she wants me to do that...of course nurse said..NO you gotta come in and be seen first....we played phone tag then....but got thru later today..made apt for tomorrow after work...if I go to work....numbness subsiding some but not doing too well..hugss all...

Thank you for your replies. I did not get a nap. It seems like the phone never stopped ringing. But I did get a load of laundry done and put a pan of lasagna in the oven. I cheated; used frozen sauce that I made a few weeks ago and no boil noodles.

Kelly, I can't use any of the DMD's; I went throught them all including tysabri in about 18 months. So now they are suggesting off label treatments.

Kay, I have the post it beside my phone to call my neuro about my report. Thanks for the suggestion. I have never requested it because I did not want to get too obsessed. But I guess it is time.:o

So does anyone have plans for the weekend? I am going to a movie tomorrow, a Christmas bazarr at a local church on Saturday (they have great homemde cookies) and to a friend's house for dinner on Sunday. I also need to grade, clean my house, and relax.:rolleyes:

Been in a daze most of the day. Got some stuff done that didn't require much thought like laundry, dishes, and vaccuming. But the brain decided to take a vacation on me. :( Hope it decides to come back soon. Hmm. maybe it will bring me presents, LOL. :D

I know what you mean, Fin. I hate it when my brain decides to leave and not tell me where it's going or when I can expect it back. Just leaves me hangin'! It'll be back.....just like a cat....when it's good and ready! :rolleyes:

Frank and Deb reminded me (thankfully) that it is Christmas card season coming up and I think besides them and whomoi I have not given my new addy to anyone. So yell if ya want it, or anyone who has it is welcome to give it out......and for Christmas I would like a young wealthy plaything LOL HAHHA I'm sleepy but ya'll will have to ask Sandy about my poor sexually harrassed patient!
