What the heck is up with all this singing this morning? And a Monday morning at that! I now have a combination of songs going through my head all at once. LOL j/k. Good to see you all up so early and singing at that.

Trying to get a couple of paintings done and out the door (somewhere ). I couldn't stand them sitting around here partially done so this morning after my morning clean up I got busy with them.

Too many pages for me to respond to so I am going to just take "Franks Generic" statement. Pick and choose which one applies to you.

Have a good day!

Truth be told I see lots of potential problems whether DD takes the job or I do. We would be in the same office but not working together.

I asked DD if she was interested and she said yes. This from a kid who didn't think she could juggle VBS training, one week of VBS, mission trip training, a week long mission trip, and a part time summer job. She never looked for a job.

DH dragged me through the mud at the office. If DD works there she will probably join DH in the bad mouthing. She has a good head on her shoulders but I don't think she is mature enough to not follow her father on this one. Plus if she is there DH will be able to say "just asked DD" any time he feels the need to bad mouth me. I don't think anyone would ask her on the side but she would probably respond if DH said it in front of her. Plus too if DD screws around there like she does here with her school work that will reflect badly on DH. Hopefully not to the point of causing problems for him but who knows.

If I take the job then I walk into an environment where everyone there has already formed an opinion of me based on up to 12 years worth of negative stories. The same holds true for DD but is more damaging I think for me. DH would no doubt take great delight any time I make a mistake too.

Why the hockey sticks did DH have to think of this house for the job?! And why the devil did I have to tell him if DD wasn't interested in it I was. Idiot! Idiot! Idiot! Obviously my brain went AWOL as soon as the phone rang.

I want a part time job but this is an emotional and sanity saving no win situation for me.

back to songs

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skys from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

And did they get you to trade
Your heros for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

Too late DH already has DD well trained. If we split now she refuses to live with me even if a judge says so. Dang AWOL brain! How the dickens am I gonna get out of this one?! Sheesh. Just had to say I would take it if she didn't. Of course DH told the co-worker in need there is interest here. A graceful exit isn't possible now and any exit looks bad for DH.

Hi everyone.

Just spent four hours (with breaks) cleaning up my side of the home office. Good grief! I didn't realize it should've been declared a disaster area!!!!!! Goes to show how often I go into that room , which happens to also house the computer stuff and has been hubby's domain until recently. I've put a dent in it, but this is definitely going to be an ongoing project.

Getting stuff together for dinner. Baked chicken, Yum!

Hope everyone has a good evening.

Jenn .. good for you .. I've cleaned out 5 'under the bed' totes .. .and threw away 6 empty boxes ... and cleaned (organized) the craft closet ...

so you must be sending working snowflakes my way .. they would come, then they would go ... like little energy workers!!
