nuttin' much new here .... still have heat and water ... gosh, it was 2 years ago when the water pump had 'issues' ... and I had no running water from Nov 14 - middle of February ... and last year - no water for about a week ... frozen pipes .. yes, I'm thankful ..

looking into my options about getting a w/c accessible trailer, have it set up in a more reputable lot ... find land ... eventually move the trailer to the land, build the studio and lighthouse ...

(i.e.: studio = 3 stall garage - heat/water/power; lighthouse = 800-1000 squ feet ... octagon - 8 sides, like a gazebo)

(((Sox))) - Hang in there. Things will work out just fine. One of my good friends just went through this. After years of pain she finally had a hysterectomy about a month and 1/2 ago. She is feeling so much better. However, like you, she was so anxious about seeing the gyno and a pending surgery. What you are going through is completely normal.:hug:

Wish I could send you all some warmer weather. Not sure what the temp is supposed to be today, maybe in the 70's and sunny. The upside of living in the desert is the winters, down side (pay attention DM) is the summers. Summers and MS can be brutal.

Not doing much today. They came and installed the new faucets yesterday. Unfortunately, it was a major fatigue day for me yesterday so I didn't get everything put back under the sinks. Guess what I did this morning. LOL.

DD18 came home from her orientation loaded with supplies and books. I am completely jealous!!! The paints (acrylic and watercolor), drawing pencils (colored and grays and regular), the pads of paper (watercolor, newsprint, drawing, 2 different sized sketchbooks, drawing board, and the list goes on and on. They give them about $2,000 worth of art supplies and quality ones at that. DD18 said I could use some but I won't. They are hers to use for her education. The admissions rep wanted her to report back to him about my reaction to all of it as he knew I would be not only jealous but in awe of all. LOL

DD17 came home from her trip sick!!!! She has a terrible cold. I felt so bad for her this morning as she was just dragging. I did ask her if she wanted to stay home and sleep but, being the studious motivated student she is, she said no, she had to go as she had a class meeting to run for dance, a field trip, and her math class that she didn't want to miss as it would put her behind. Thank goodness for her today is only a 1/2 day.

A week ago I decided to go for a walk and took off with my walker. I live in the country so to go around the block is two miles here...well I did it...my son saw me and came and told me to get in his truck and I told him no...he said to call him on the cells if I needed. I told him if I got tired I would just lay down in the ditch. It was Halloween so that would have been a good joke...maybe. I did get some who stopped and gave me treats.:wink:

advice please....I am still numbish arm and leg on right side...and face going too...due to probably humidity...but hey I realize I have lots of prednisone pills from the past taper...

I have a call out to my drs nurse, and wondered about asking her...if she suggests I try a taper down of some prednisone to hopefully lull this away a bit..or to see if it will....granted the nurse probably cant say go for it and will have to check with the dr...so I am hoping she calls me soon..as it is 410....

do you think it would be something to try....?? anyhow..lucky I am on the neurontin otherwise I knwo all this numbness stuff I would be feeling very bad tingling pain with it..without the neurontin in my system...yeahh for that...

(help) .. a new weird system ... the pain that I have continually thru-out my hips (makes walking funny) .. mostly on my left side (the whole side - back - leg - heel) is numb ... but today - I have this very sharp/hot pain in my L kidney area ... it's like someone took a bat and just whomped me! ...

oops - the pain isn't by the kidney so much .. it's more the side/back area .. uh oh ... would this be shingles again??

My mom just called and said her pcp has referred her to their new neurologist in the area. She said she cannot keep up with so many doctors and wants mom to see someone near her from now on. She also told her to not worry about her disability, she'll take care of that too. Wow, someone is on our side! lol That's a new concept eh?

The bills are fine just lower than I wanted to be. A little here, a little there and next thing you know you saying "whuh?" out loud. We're OK, just bill people are rude once they get you in. Oh, but if your wanting to join up on their side they are your best friend. Reality check, check. :p

this morning i had my cell phone go off in my pocket on buzz or vibrate, and it was weird cause the phone was on the computer desk not in my pocket, got to love this MS, I use to pay for tiny wittle pills for some of these experiences, numbness cog vision cant feel my legs but can still walk on them I love that one and the vibrations..... walks out singing legends of the mind.........

I have a UTI. I don't like going in to see the doctor when I know what it is. One good thing is, the doctor I saw gave me one refill on the med, Bactrim generic.

One of my other doctors called in an RX but I didn't find out about it until I got home from the doctor and pharmacy. :rolleyes: So do I pick up the extra one and save it? Or call the pharmacy and cancel it?

I was calling all over today when I woke up hoping somebody would call one in. Our urology department at the local clinic isn't very good, my PCP was out of town and also my neuro. My gyno doctor was able to see me thank goodness. The urgent care doctor on call is a quack and I didn't want to see him. :icon_eek: He nearly killed me once with an incorrect RX a few years back.

I have low back pain with this one so I know it's a doozy.

drink plenty of fluids and cranberry juice. keep an eye on that back pain make sure its not kidneys Wiz, I hope you feel better real soon:hug:

So tonight I was steaming some fresh brocc in the micro in a shallow
bowl. My micro is above my wall oven. I was taking it out and my hand
slipped, pouring boiling water on my chest and into my bra.:eek: its
really sore. Im sure that tomorrow at my gynos, a breast exam is gonna
be a hoot with a burned ta-ta.:(*sigh* Im really having a rough time.:(

Sorry about the burn Sox. :hug: I've done that before with boiled spaghetti, dropped one side of the pan and boiling water splashed on my hand and arm. Maybe someday you can get a new microwave on the countertop?

Thanks all about the UTI and abx. I think I'll call the pharmacy and see how much it is. If it's a cheap one I'll pick it up for next time maybe.

Frank I have cranberry capsules, I think I'll take those twice a day while on the abx.
