Kay, wow. That's beautiful! No wonder the bugs and stuff aren't chasing you away. So worth it. Thanks for sharing.

Sandy, Thanks for the pics. We haven't had any snow in our little part yet. They keep saying we're supposed to. :confused:

Everyone, :grouphug::grouphug:

My relatives are up in Akron for a funeral. My cousin died the other day. I didn't know him well but they did. I hope they get back on the plane tonight before the snow comes.

FinLady 12-16-2008 09:02 PM

Sandy, so sorry for your loss. :hug: Hope they don't have any trouble getting home. I know the northern half of the state had more snow than we did.

tkrik 12-16-2008 09:07 PM

All of you have posted great pictures. It is fun to see the contrast been the snowy weather in Tami and Sandy's pictures versus Kay's "Garden of Eden" picture. I do miss the snow and love to look at wintery pictures as it brings back great memories.

Sandy - I am sorry to hear about your cousin.:hug: As for the visitors . . .Deep breath, deep breath. Don't jinx the situation.

Sandy, sorry for teh family loss...which is tough around holidays...hugssss

thanks all..thinking I could request to go back but...money wise it would change down to below what I was making before...as they have now put a salary cap on what each position can make....long story...

anyhow thinking positive, just I am type when I care about somethign I care too much I guess....hard for me to let my job go at the door when I get home...and that I have ahd with any job I have had...so I gotta learn to let that go....easier said then done...

well baking baking here, MandM red and green cookies....and we made Peanut butter kiss cookies.....heading to bed soon...thanks again all, I am ok...hugsss,sarah (just a big sx day, frustrated with memory crap, and numb legs, and no dx..and work and you know cookie baking is fun though hehe)

tkrik 12-16-2008 09:51 PM

(((Sarah))) We all have days like that. Hang in there and know that you are doing a great job. :hug:

ewizabeth 12-17-2008 12:43 AM

(((((Sarah))))) I wish you could find a different, and less stressful job. :hug:

Kay, I love your backyard!

Sandy and Jim, yours too!

Tamiloo, you and Olhipie live in God's country, you lucky girl! What a breathtaking landscape!

Weave, I'm so happy to see you feeling so much happier! :hug:

Planning for Sunday here... I have recipes printed out and making my grocery list for tomorrow. Had nausea all day long today. :cool: It's better now, I'll skip the Provigil tomorrow. Have to see the dentist about a painful tooth. Friday I have my Tysabri infusion, hoping for good weather for our trip into the suburbs.

I might see Deb and Frank tomorrow to get one of those beautiful trees. It will brighten our house for Sunday's Christmas party. :)

SandyC 12-17-2008 01:33 AM

Wiz, have fun seeing Deb and Frank if you get a chance! The trees are so pretty in person.

We got about 5 inches of snow, how about you?

tamiloo 12-17-2008 03:08 AM

Sandy, so sorry for your loss. :hug:

Kayo, Olhipie saw the picture of you back yard a wondered when he could move in. He said he would help feed the critters for all the mango's...what about passion fruit? Can't find in the norhtern Utah...He is on his way...:Sinking:

CayoKay 12-17-2008 06:33 AM

Tamiloo-who, your sweet ol' hippie is welcome here anytime, but...

this is one of the *most* wheelchair-inaccessible places I've ever lived.

you want ramps, grab-bars, and paths, you have to build them yourself!

:o:rolleyes::o

I suppose that's part of the adventure of it all, right?

see that long piece of string and stakes in the right side of my photo? that's the markings for the paths we laid out so I can get around our tiny patch of paradise... the sand "bed" is already laid, and the cement goes down next.

Vonnie's right, the bugs here are simply *beyond* belief !!

I wish I had some sort of portable full-coverage NET I could wear when I go out!

in my widest dreams, I imagine rolling around in something like THIS:

or a full-body version of THIS, that would fit over my motor-chair:

:D:cool::D

by the way Tami, your backyard is amazingly beautiful, I spent a lot of time just gazing at that photo... makes me ALMOST miss the snow!

;):winky:;)
