Even though it's before noon, I need a real stiff drink right about now. Went to do some running around, and luckily happened close enough to home I was able to ease it back - But my tire went flat again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad:

Morning Everybody! :)

I'm at the office and slowly waking up. We're still busy, but quiet busy, and that's a good thing. Crazy busy is ok too, but not likely to happen this close to Christmas.

I had a nice visit yesterday with Deb and Frank. Deb is a crafty and talented gal. We have lots of crafty and talented people here, maybe it's in the water, eh? ;)

I got my grocery shopping done yesterday for Sunday's party. I still have a few more things to get but shouldn't take too long in the stores. I'm hoping the snow and ice will hold off until tonight, and then be finished before morning since we have to drive into the suburbs tomorrow for my infusion.
We have to be there at 9:30am, through a snowstorm, and rush hour traffic... :eek: I think we'll leave extra early. I'll try to rest the remainder of the day, then cook and clean on Saturday for the party. I hope the roads will be good on Sunday so the out of towners can make it to our house ok.

Only 22 days until vacation, see the attached pic for what I'll be doing for a week, lol.

Schools (k-12) are canceled for a second day in a row because of icy roads. I have just about finished packing for my trip, and have loaded the trunk of my car with presents, etc. Now I am hoping that the freezing rain that they are forecasting for today is just rain. Please! We are under another advisory for freezing rain from 3 p.m. until 6. a.m. Although some of the some of the forecasts say we could have thunder storms after midnight. So my plan is to leave for Ohio tomorrow morning. The weather looks okay there. Still hoping to meet Jenn for breakfast on Saturday morning. (no flat tires on Saturday, okay: Sorry about that:(). The total drive is about 9 hours so I am planning on stopping in Columbus overnight to break up the trip

I probably will be out of touch for about 2 weeks. Since I totally screwed up my mother's computer the last time I was home (according to her) and she has dial up service, I plan on having a computer free holiday. So I want to wish you all a wonderful holiday. I hope you take the time to really enjoy your families and friends, and also take time to relax and de stress.
