Umm, Barb you may want to check that weather again. They are talking sleet and ice overnight by you and up to a foot of snow for us!!! :yikes: Please be safe when going northeast. :hug:

Sox, I wish there was something we could do for you. :hug: I can call you and let you vent away if that would help. :hug:

Finn, sorry about the tire. I hate that. :hug:

Wiz, is that the VI's????? I am so mad at you. lol Just kidding. :hug:

Nothing too much on the agenda today. I am sweeping and washing floors and putting up tables downstairs for next week. I start early so I am not swamped with stuff to do on party day. Frank, I saw Deb's text late last night. Tell her thank you but I start early on the prep. But you can still come early! lol

Have a great day everyone and midwest buckle up, we're in for a ride tonight! :grouphug:

Will be going out soon to double check car. Felt like a flat, but want to be sure (since the eyeball might be deceived). Have to wait for the temp to rise just a little more. That car has definitely been a murphey vehicle since the warrenty expired. :rolleyes: Ah well, what can one do?

Been doing an angry clean, lol. Upstairs is finally ready for the tree, which is a plus. :D

So taking a break and probably grab some lunch.

~~~~~
Barb, hoping this clears up so we can meet Saturday. Sorry to hear about the icy conditions up where you are.
Wiz, Thanks. :) The vacation looks lovely. Glad you guys had fun visiting. :)
ewizabeth 12-18-2008 12:48 PM
Have a good trip Barb, maybe you can fix your Mom's computer. :hug:
Sox, Feel better soon... :hug:
Sandy, that's Montego Bay, we love it there and the prices are reasonable! :) We're Jamericans, lol. A couple of our favorite waiters told us so.
BTW, that looks like a doozy of a storm doesn't it? :eek:
Don't forget to add a candle and matches/lighter to this as this can keep the car warm for hours. (In the mountains we get lots of snow and the Forest Service always recommends this).
Be careful all of you if you are out and about in this.
Barb - Hope you have a safe trip. Have someone post that you made it OK. Have a good holiday and a great time spending time with your family.:hug:
Wiz, Frank & Deb - So glad you all had a great time getting together yesterday.
SandyC 12-18-2008 12:53 PM
Wiz, we're expected to get anywhere from 6-12 inches. If you have something to do you should do it now. Yikes!
