Hi all...got the rest of shopping done with DH today...got 7-11 gift cards for kids to get slurpees...LOL...it's a tradition with the kids; DH's idea...
so tired of the painful spasms...wondering if I should call neuro on Monday to see if I can go in for IVSM this week instead of Jan. I can't wait to get holidays over with...feel sad about my attitude, but I just can't stand the stress of making sure that everyone's happy...:(:( |

Thanks Debbie. I've had them hooked up like this since Thanksgiving with no trouble so I am pretty sure the ice has something to do with it. BUT, I am going to separate the cords and use two outlets this time just in case. lol
BTW, the wind is extremely strong right now. If i didn't have snow on my back porch I think the swing would fly! :yikes: If anything has fallen tomorrow (xmas decs) I am going to just put it away. hahaha |
Sandy, bettah flying *swings* than houses, or monkeys, for that matter!
praying for a cessation in your gnarly weather soon, you poor Illinoisians... NaeNae? I forgot to say why it was so CUTE that Esteban sang to me. 1. My kids are all grown, so I'd never heard of the Wonder Pets before you talked about them, and how they helped you and Olivia get your work done, (since we have no TV here, and I've never seen the show.) 2. I'd've never known who they *were* except for this board, and leetle Olivia. :grouphug:  3. Esteban has very little English, so it was quite adorable to hear his rendition of the Wok-Wok song in near-perfect English. 4. I guess that TV is part of how many children learn English... and what I thought of while Esteban sang was mi esposo's claim that his first English sentence was "I *love* my Tampax tampons!" :D;):D |

oh Debbie, I know *exactly* what you mean !! my heart goes out to you, and I truly empathize. I've developed coping strategies for the foot and calf cramps, even the ones that wake me from a dead sleep, going ZOING !!:( I've trained myself to get up quickly, and place the offending foot FLAT on the floor, and lean forward slightly, to gently stretch, and try to undo the zoinging muscles. I can do this even half-asleep... (pain as motivation works wonders in training, eh?) but these NEW spazzes... they're in my thighs, and I haven't figured out yet how to make them CHILL out... so, we're sisters in pain 'n' agony, honeybabydarlin':grouphug::hug: |
Good Morning everybody! Well, it feels like December here again. I was getting grumpy with the warm, humid weather!
I've made my Christmas dinner shopping list and will probably go on Monday or Tuesday to shop for all the ingredients I need. I put a huge note on the front of the fridge door Dinner at Noon so.....how many times do you think the boys will ask what time we're eating?? I talked to my BIL last night....it's been almost 1 year since Susan passed away. Let me just say he gave me some news that absolutely floored me....please say a prayer for me that I can be open minded and gracious enough to understand and accept why he's doing what he's doing. I really need some divine intervention here to help me with my attitude.....:( Four more days till Santa comes! I hope everyone gets what they've wished for and that Santa is good to you all. :grouphug: |
lemme guess... he's already seeing somebody?
my brother's wife was only "in mourning" for a year. I don't GET it... heck, it took me five YEARS to "get over" just a breakup, but the *loss* of a spouse? probably never is my guess, for me........ prayin' for your attitude adjustment, via divine intervention Kell, no matter what the "issue" is there. |
cool we are up to minus 6 degrees must be because the sun is up, dont step out without protection its minus 32 with the wind joy joy

Thanks, Kay. I truly believe that men are so totally different from women when it comes to things like this. It took me four years just to be able to go out on a date. I've found that more often than not men tend to get back out there in the "relationship world" quicker than women do. And I believe it's because they need someone to nurture them. They need that "woman's touch" sort of thing. I've totally surprised myself in that I am content with my solitude and look at another man in my life as more of an intrusion than a welcome distraction. Guess I've just become comfortable with my own company....plus the men I dated came with a free subscription to "Drama Central" and "The Ex-wife Digest"!! :p The security that comes with a committed relationship is nice and I often wonder how I'll cope in my later years without it but I just take it one day at a time. |
this is why my weather report just said LOL
for the record i spent about 6 yrs mourning a bad marriage, think its more the individual not gender |
