I am worn out. Went to a party tonight -- decided not to wear my ball gown. Saw the first dance -- almost cried again. Came home after eating and a champaign toast and watched some more of the coverage. Now I have to go to bed even though I want to keep watching CNN. I am going to pay for this tomorrow, but today was great.

82%, 25 miles. I'll bet I'll know where Iowa is next time.

I tried it again. 92%, 8 miles. Cool. I like this game. Am I smarter than a 5th grader? Don't answer.

I don't usually remember this until afterward, so I guess I'm moving forward in acceptance:

Running into town for a few groceries--a total of 2 hours from putting on boots to taking them off again--kills the whole day. We get back, I put most of the groceries away, and I'm toast. No, make that toast crumbs.

I'm better off, I think, realizing it ahead of time. Then, instead of being crabby the rest of the day because I'm tuckered out and can't do anything on my list, I can ANTICIPATE that and schedule afternoon activities such as reading the newspaper, playing Text Twist on the computer, and staring out the window.

I guess there was still a tiny bit of denial, in still thinking "I'll go get groceries and then I'll...." Then I'll nothing. Oh well. At least I can still drive and can still afford groceries, for today anyway.

Sarah - Glad to hear your dad is back home. Additionally, I am so glad you found a neuro who is going to work for you and help you get some answers. He sounds like a keeper.

Barb - You party girl! LOL. I hope today goes well for you and you don't have to pay the price.

I missed the 1st dance! I watched everything on a off yesterday but by last night I was too tired. I was flipping through channels and missed it. I had a major MS moment and was waiting for the speech. LOL Silly me, that's tonight.

Hope everyone has a good day today!

That's the spirit, B2Y!! When I get irritated that I can't do more I think about what I can do....and how some people cannot even do that.....and it puts it all into perspective for me. How about renting a movie and planning to watch that after doing chores such as going to the grocery or running errands. It gives you something to look forward to.

Do you have a library card? Our library loans movies and books on tape, too. You can get things to read, watch and listen to for no $$!! And always have something low key and restful to keep you occupied when you're worn out.

Mornin' all. Well I have a blank to do list paper here and lots of things clamoring to get on the list. Carp! Why does one extra day of weekend always throw me for such a loop?

Have a good one. Stay warm and out of trouble. Well... at least stay warm.

good morning everyone

well the ignition was replaced no luck with dryer still, might be this tiny thing called a thermal fuse so back to the part store and get the part not expensive, so that helps, there really is not much to a dryer, talk about an over priced appliance

Blessings my retired buddy I have been having that trouble too, we are talking about a mailman that walked 7-12miles a day, then after work go for a long walk in the woods to help my legs to work down. now I dread going to the grocery store knowing what I need is back in that corner or way over there and way over there,

hit 3 stores and i am also toast when I get home, yesterday i got home and crashed two and a half hours of running around and I was useless, that just so eff annoys me, pardon moi French, it sucks sometimes, I have always been a work horse go go go till you drop now lol I am a wuss, I dread long trips walking places and such, you always got us for a hug and a possible smile to help you over this MSbs

you know I have mentioned this before and last night deb and I talked about it, I know what a few of you suffer from, but in all honesty, I have no idea what some of you suffer from, you are trish you are sandy you are kay you are my friends you are not ms parkinsons seizures you are deb vonnn finnie, its good I think although am I lacking concern about your illness, no, but the feeling I should know what we all suffer from does nag at me(doubles checks yeah that was my conscious not deb)

ok lets see today I need to get in touch with a friend that called a couple weeks back and fix her computer, I dont have her number so need to network this call, going to my aunts to fix her computer then to parts store, then hopefully I will once i bought the part be able to find this tiny thing on the dryer, at least I will have a new one and know what it looks like

everyone have a wonderful day

peace love and free valiums to all parents of boys
