a busy day would be the above mentioned list plus .... scrubbing all the floors the old fashion way ... they really need it too ... may do the kitchen floor yet .... it keeps calling me "clean me" ...

still have dinner to fix .... hot dogs and chips sound good to me ... and easy to fix so i can get on the kitchen floor cleaning ... literally

sandy ... no payment is ever accepted until services are completed .... in other words ... i do the balls and then get paid .... i kinda like the elegant way i put it though

Went and met friends for dinner. Still "enjoying" the unknown precip. Actually, it is starting to snow right now. Roads are fine, but sidewalks and parking lots are slippery. I had to have one of my friends husbands help me get from the car to their house after dinner. Then he had to help another friend who was afraid of falling. So while we enjoyed tea and shortbread, he went out and bought some icy melt for their driveway. It helped some.

Hope the highways are ok tomorrow; that is when I am going to Barnes Hospital to see MS specialist. It is about 140 miles each way. I do have a friend coming with me to help with the driving.

Do any of you have a friend that always overdoes it with presents? This is my friend Mary that was visiting from out of town. She gave me a calendar, a cute xmas picture frame, and aveda lotion, shampoo, and conditioner that she had made for me. I gave her earrings. Oh well.

Kay, have a wonderful time tomorrow. Give Rachelle a hug from me.

Mornin' all! What? Too early to be so cheerful? Maybe.

DH surprised me last night with a call from his hotel room saying he arrived safely and planned to just stay put until it was time to come home. I figured snowballs would sprout wings and fly on their own before he would make that call. I didn't ask him too but was really glad he did. (now it does add to my confusion over this whole says he wants a divorce but follow through actions are mixed. oh i have an opinion on what is really going on but my heart and sanity are deep in survival mode. be careful what you ask for DH because you just might get it.)

Got about 80% of yesterday's to do list done. Wrote out today's list last night and it is a long one. Walked out to the kitchen this morning and saw the bag of Friendship Bread starter sitting on the counter. Oh carp! Today is the day to divide the starter for sharing and bake a pair of bread loaves for us as directed. I wasn't going to do that though I was going to bake up all the starter and freeze the loaves for us and maybe gifts. Well now I know I won't get my list done today.

Lots to do better get moving...

Good morning all you sleepy heads. You all must be sleeping in.

I have a busy day ahead of me today. Pay bills, finish cleaning, make dinner (pasta salad - won't have time this evening and it needs to sit for an hour or 2), write my thank you notes, nap, get up and go with DD17 to order her cap and gown, volunteer work this afternoon, and then come home and crash. LOL

I decided I am in desperate need of intellectual stimulation and am thinking of taking 1 or 2 classes at the local community college. I am trying to decide between a genetics/biotech/human affairs class (which is at night) and/or a chemistry and art class (which is listed as TBA). They both sound so interesting and so cool but I want to talk with the school and instructors 1st to see if I will be able to cognitively and physically be able to do it.

The cool thing is that unlike my earlier college days, I am not concerned about the grade at all. I just want that stimulation in an academic environment (love that environment). Plus, I need to just try it and see how I do. It will be like a 16 week test of my cognitive abilities. LOL (Can I process the information, follow complex instructions, remember the information, etc.).

Enough of my babbling.

Hope you all have a great day today! (Kay have fun with Twink. She is an awesome person, so warm and friendly. You can't help but just love her.)

Morning all. Sipping my morning cup of joe trying to plan out the day. Got a couple of things that absolutely need done or started today, so may just do that stuff.

Hope everyone has a great day!

~~~~
Deb, totally understand the floor calling to ya. My Christmas tree is calling to me to take it down.
Frank, safe travels today.
Debbie D, hoping your furbaby will be ok.
Trish, if you're able to do it, the classes sound so cool! Best of luck!
Barb, hoping the appointment with the specialist goes well.
Everyone,
