I want spring too Frank. I've decided I'm going to grow my annuals from seed this year. I'll have to put them in the closed off bedroom of our youngest DS upstairs to keep away from Rocky the destroyer though lol.

Doing that will help me to keep my mind on the warm weather ahead.

ok its 4 am cant sleep love them there steroids

Howdy Howdy

gonna see what mischief i can stir up at this hour hmmm, watching NASA tv. anyone ever seen the female astronauts in space with zero gravity, ever see how their hair stands straight up, well should i take a pic of deb, her hair is in zero gravity lol ok thats a good start, by time she reads this we should be a good 5 pages down the road.

ok next annoyance on my behalf would be the first of two songs embedded in my hollow gourd i call a noggin.

first up

Long ago and oh so far away

I fell in love with you before the second show

Your guitar, it sounds so sweet and clear

But youre not really here

Its just the radio

dont you remember you told me you loved me baby........

( god I just love her voice)

ok and the next not as blah romantic but the harmony and well its good song so I got two going at once and its so much fun, thought i would share

John and Mitchy were gettin' kind of itchy
Just to leave the folk music behind

Zol and Denny workin' for a penny
Tryin' to get a fish on the line

In a coffee house Sebastian sat
And after every number, they'd pass the hat

McGuinn and McGuire just a-gettin' higher
In L.A., you know where that's at

And no one's gettin' fat except Mama Cass.......

(got to admit they sure could harmonize )

well shall I have some coffee and scrap the idea of sleep if so might as well take my last day of full dose of steroids, maybe get some sleep tonight.....

something tells me today is gonna go a lot like this landing

or this one

yeah we gonna have fun today

Mornin' everyone!

Frank, didn't Ann Murray sing that first song? I like it, too.

Well, I almost spilled the beans last night to Kevin's girlfriend! She is working at a store right down the street from us and has to be at work at 7 AM this morning so she spent the night here last night. Before she got here yesterday we were talking about the engagement and I almost said something about it when she got here! I almost wish he hadn't told me yet!! I don't want to spoil the surprise.

It's warming up here gradually. It will eventually even out in the low 50's and that's good. Still sweater weather but not so cold that my heat runs 24/7. I dread getting my next gas bill.

I'm thinking of going to Ingle's today if I'm up to it. Not sure if those grocery stores are anywhere else but in the southern states. They're having triple coupons up to 50 cents this week and I have a bunch of them. I want to see if it's worth stocking up on certain things.

I got an email yesterday that my new Safelink Wireless cell phone is on it's way to me. I get the phone plus 68 minutes a month at no charge. It has voice mail and caller ID, too! As soon as I get it I will cancel my phone with AT&T. More $$ I can save!

Ya'll have a good day and stay warm.

Morning Kelly I too am leaning towards him not telling you lol oops, missed it by that much

ok you and me need to work on something, sweater weather? thats shorts and tshirt weather ask Char Rw Polar Vonnie scratch that one she thinks 30 is shorts and tshirt weather, ok where were we, yeah ask folks around this latitude and thats shorts weather

I did manage to pick up this 15 dollar fuse that isnt too much bigger than a horse pill, and of course it goes in the back of the motor that can not be accessed from the back of the unit, why because that would well make sense:SMACK:, so I get to take the front off and do exploratory surgery with my eyes closed oh this is so cool maybe i might be able to get a foot cramp and slam my hand on some hard metal part inside the dryer .... oh this has the makings of a fun fun day lol, oh yeah and the fuse doesnt just pull out and plug in, again why cause that would make sense. it gets screwed in

well time to go milk the coffee beans

Mornin' folks. Going to be a busy one today. I hope I don't pass myself in the front door at lunch. Work, DD's co-op/ teaching, and a guild meeting will have me gone today/ night. DS has a half day of school tomorrow. I have plans for the kids already. Have a warm and healthy one.

Good morning everyone!

Vonn - That's cool about the presentation. Keeping my fingers crossed and saying some prayers it will eventually fall in to the "right hands."

Sox - Sorry everyone is getting sick. Take care of yourself too.

Kay - AWESOME!!!! I am so happy for your DD. That was great news to read.

Kelly - Congrats on the "pending" engagement. Be careful not to spill the beans and accidentally propose to her for your son. LOL

Barb - DBF was telling me about a news report or something like that, that had to do with kids in the upcoming generations. The report had something to do with each generation being more intelligent than the next. However, the young adults now are not as intelligent; they are distracted, unmotivated, don't get involved in much, etc. Although I see this in a lot of DDs friends, there are also many exceptions to this theory. It is really sad and think you are experiencing some of that.

Frank - Hope you get your dryer fixed today. Deb will be happy.

Hi everyone else! I am thinking about you all as well. Hoping you all have a great day!

Frank, have you considered purchasing a used dryer in good condition (maybe from the Good Will or Salvation Army) and keeping your old dryer for parts (or not)? At least to give you a dryer to use while you repair your other one....and then you'd have a backup in case one failed? If you have a garage to work in that'd make it easier on you and then you could just store it in there until it was needed.

Good morning everyone...sunny in northern Illinois!! Yahoo!! Love that sun...

Kay, that is wonderful news about DD's academic success...isn't it awesome when the kids do all right?

Kel...if I didn't say before, congrats on DS's pending engagement...repeat after me...must..put..duct..tape..over..mouth

Frank, still dealing with the freakin' dryer? Hope you can fix it...Kel had a great idea of getting a used one...sometimes the simplest appliances are the most headache -ridden when it comes to repairing...

Heading off to appointments...therapy and IVSM...sorely needed...
Have a great day!!
