Angels in Waiting is the group. I think, and I hope, that it works out. Saw Dr. Phil today as well and there are many others who are going to do the things to make certain the home is safe, etc. It was a very interesting show I thought. Foster care is not the answer. That is the concensus of all who were on today and they pointed out the reasons. It's much better for the children to be with the biological mother. Also, it was interesting how the group, Angels in Waiting, explained how things would be run and just one thing was that they would have the Mom sleep in shirts at night which they then would use so the babies could smell Mom, etc. They said it's astronomical but doable. They have been doing it for many years. It was all interesting to me. |
I think that if I were one of those children I would want to anywhere but with my dimwitted biological mother - hopefully none will grow up to be at all like her - we have enough problems in the world today !!!!!! And I sincerely hope that in all of this hype the mother gets mental counseling because she surely needs it - maybe Dr Phil can pay for it - but again - hopefully - he won't be the counselor -

She said that going into the counseling profession herself students have to go through counseling, which she has.
I just hope all works out well for her children. |
UNBELIEVABLE! She fired the Angels In Waiting team! She really does not have a grip on this situation. I'd love to know where she plans on getting all this money when the novelty wears off and she has to fend for herself. Ugh!

I just saw that Cindy. I am so done with her. She's upset because they were reporting back to child services? What did she expect? AND, they were helping for free and she just let's them go and says she'll hire new nurses? What in the world is going on? They definately need to get those babies out of there and her into rehab. Anyone who lets go of those willing to work for free to help her needs serious help.
*like we didn't know that already* |
Fired
Angels in Waiting::mfr_wha: I hadn't heard that. I guess I just haven't been paying much attention to her lately. That certainly is something.
I did see where two more of the babies came home but that was about the last that I watched. Guess I'll have to keep up with it:Hum::Head-Spin::BeamUp: |

Oh, you know Dr. Phil will come running to the rescue.
**cue Mighty Mouse music......"Here I Come To Save The Day!"** http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...ghty_mouse.jpg Why would she have a problem with CPS being kept abreast of what was going on.....unless she was not caring for them properly? I understand about privacy but she sounds a little paranoid. If I were in that position I would gratefully accept any help I was offered. I think she feels like someone will come along and bail her out. They have so far....... |
Dr. Phil already had scheduled an updated broadcast about this fiasco-of-a-mom for Wednesday (this week).
1 Mom + 14 children + 3 with "special needs" + 8 premies? A potential disaster. If Dr. Phil wants to help, why give it fan-fare? I believe, and it's only my lowly opinion: Do it without the glare of TV lights. Cameras don't need to be present for everything or continue to follow the "saga." |
