Cool! It's about time we started #5. Good thinkin', Miss Monkey...

So tell me...how did you birthday/anniversary turn out? Was it the best day of your life???

I hate to report it, coach, but I'm losing weight again. What's the deal on that? I thought people were supposed to gain ten pounds during the holidays...

My brother still says he'd be glad to donate me ten or twenty pounds if I need it. Says it would do both of us some good.

buddy..you have to eat more than 1x a day. are you still drinking the ensure? guess i am gonna have to arm wrestle you and make you pm me daily what you are eating.

remember....small meals. healthy snacks. nuts. cheese. a piece of fruit. apple slices with peanut butter. the monkeys are hooked on them right now. grandmonkey likes o make "ants on a log...celery stick...peanut butter...and raisins.

your stomach is all tiny now. it isn't going to hold much at one time, so don't try or worry about eating big meals.

hehe..your bro hs the right idea.

Good afternoon, Good late evening, Good morning.

Sorry to talk about food again lol

Either of you know if I can just add an egg if I want to use half the shortening in a cake recipe?

applesauce. hmmmnn, never would have thought of that. I have a fresh jar of that here. No idea why we bought it, we don't eat pork LOL Not sure what else to do with it. Maybe I should start a thread somewhere about what to do with things we don't know what to do with. :icon_wink:

I want to cut down on butter. I'll try the extra egg for now and see if it works ok. If it's too messy I can add more flour or something. Oh dear. I may make a big mess.

I'm making sushi tonight for dinner, but have to make my daughter some patty cakes again. Thing is I eat too many of them.

thanks. I'll try my luck

G'day Shrek,
Your posts worked just fine.
Good to see you posting.
I think Curious may have gone to sleep. (maybe)
It's only dinner time here where I am... although it's dinner time on Wednesday night, not Tuesday night.

Hope to see you around.
take care,
Lara
