Thanks for writing Miss Christmas and Don-No he is not a veteran he is 55 years old. We live in Tennessee,
The lawyer said it could take 6-9 months- well we will keep struggling what choice do we have- And for ssdi to say they know he can't do his previous work -Just gets me!!! He has a massive blood clot in his leg he has to keep it elevated to keep the swelling down-He can't travel- So what kind of job do they think he can do??? Unreal!! Bless you all I pray each one of you never have to go through all this bs-cause thats exactly what it is BS |

Don't stop trying. I know don on this site also. There are alot of us having trouble with SSD. Keep all your medical records and tests. Did your doctors write a letter stating you are disabled? I saw that you had records but no mention of letters. It is usually a combination of things that grants the SSD. I did have legal assistance as I was turned down several times before I was granted my hearing. It was the hearing that I could present myself, that led to me getting my medicare card. I have recently had trouble with SSD and went back to that same legal aid person for help. I hope things work out for you. ginnie

Getting a copy of all your records and doctors notes is important as stated. I just had to sign a release. I also did this with all hospital records and exams such as MRI. SS once they have your records, usually do not return them. I do keep a log as well of all symptoms that worsen etc. I already have medicare/medicade, but there have been issues that have popped up that made me glad I kept good records. Good luck to you. ginnie

We just hired an attorney and he said he has to send to ssdi for records and yes he signed a release. So we will hang in as long as we can he can't work that is not even a option. They sent him to 2 doctors and both said if he gets denied to hire an attorney.
Thanks for answering and God Bless you all |
