I wrote something fairly lengthy twice & when I tried to post it I get a message claiming I'm not logged on, but I am. I'm just seeing if this will post.
Do you think this happened because my post is kind of long, or what do you think is happening? Just testing to see if this will post even. I see this did post, so I don't understand. Someone please help if you know what is going on. I would like to post the questions I was asking. After this site claims I'm not logged on I also lose what I had written. |

Yes , we're very sorry but the system has a built-in time out period.
If using a home/or private computer clicking the Remember Me near the log in area should help, also allowing cookies from this site. You can add the website link in the exceptions area for cookies in your browser tools. If you don't want to use those options many type out a long post in Word or word pad and then copy/paste it in the message box. Or another option is having 2 browser tabs/windows open to NT and then if you get timed out use the other tab/window to log in again and then return to submit your post in the other window. Might need to refresh the page. Or sometimes using the back button will bring back the 'lost" post so you can retrieve it to re submit after logging in again..

You could also try typing it in your Notepad or other text editor on your computer and then just copy and paste it into the forum.

Keep trying to post. That happened to me too when I first started long posts. That remember me spot where you log in is what helped out the most. I don't think I had any problems after that. We are here and glad to have you around at Neuro Talk. ginnie
