I honestly dont know what to do. Im going to call my SSDI caseworker again this week and ask for the paperwork again and see if they will allow my dr to fill it out again, but when they had my dr fill out the paperwork last time as my case worker said "This needs to get back withn 10 days so that way your case doesnt stay open long", So im afraid that they will say no. Im going to call my lawyer again, but man he just doesnt want to do anything it seems, the most hes done is send in some paperwork to apeal it and that was it. Ill just keep trying.

I am truely sorry your lawyer has not kept on top of your case. If this fails to go through, or someone at SSDI drops the ball, it is your lawyer that is suppose to follow up. I hope you can find someone who can allow you to have some peace in your life while all the business end of it is taken care of properly. I will be thinking of you. SSI is for those without enough work credits for SSDI. If your SSDI is low enough, than SS supplements the amount with SSI. Some states give you an additional supplement if you receive SSI. In CA it's about $200 I believe. You may also qualify for SNAP (food stamps) and Medicaid.
