If you mailed it, than just try to put it out of your mind!

Can I ask your age?

53 and I was falling apart so I called the 1-800 number for soc sec and she said a letter will be sent to me on the 7th or 17th of this month saying they will not be doing a full review and will be going off what they already have so I asked no full and not like starting over? and she said no. she said I could send anything else if I want to cover myself, but I think the letter from judge explains pretty well, do u think they will look at that, or should I send that and new dr who diagnosed me with cervical dystonia or leave well enough alone?

The long form is a review, but it's not like going through the whole approval process again, if that's your concern.

It certainly sounds like you are current with your visits with multiple MD's. If you are following their treatment plans (aside from that cheat with not using your walker, a mistake that I hope you've learned not to do again ) and your prognosis has not dramatically improved, you SHOULD be okay.

It's so common for any one of us on disability to panic over a review. If mental health issues or cognitive issues are part of our problems, it can be even more overwhelming. As hard as it is, try to relax about it. If the long form comes, it comes. Worrying yourself sick about that prospect won't change the outcome. You've already proven to the SSA that you are disabled, now they are just inquiring if you have improved. It sounds like your docs are very supportive. You can ask one of them for help with the long form if you do end up getting it.

Please don't beat yourself up for "messing up" the short form. You did the best you could when you weren't sure that you could fill it out by yourself. If you were a real pro at all of this, with the knowledge and ability to do it all easily, you could probably work in the field . You had difficulty with the form BECAUSE you are disabled.

Give it some time. I hope that you'll find you worried for nothing. If you do end up getting the long form, check back here if you need some advice with it and follow through with your medical team or a trusted family member or friend if you need help filling it out.

Take care Granny K. Sending calming thoughts your way

oh and I am using my walker a whole lot more now, I fell again, and broke my nose this time....my dr is going to renew my handicap permit, but do u think I should let them know that I have addition diagnosis, like cervical dystonia is looked at kinda like Parkinson's....or should I leave well enough alone, if it is in fact just a letter stating my benefits will continue?

the judge explained things very well with the full approval when fully approved first time, and if they r going by the info they already have, it should be ok, I think

omg now I am freaking out again, what if she doesn't mean what she said.....what if she was just trying to calm me down by telling me they won't be doing a full review and that they are going off of what they have and benefits will continue? in the ss secrets, it says that if it gets kicked and it goes to a human, it is up to their discretion as to whether or not they do a full review.....I guess I call back or just breathe and wait til I get the letter.....I know I should not be stressing over this...I know what I heard or at least I think I do, remembering yesterday or what people say is not so easy and some times impossible.....I know I am rambling too much and I am the only one posting on here now lol yes I will breathe and continue on day to day
