Default SSI question.

Hi, my name is Kayla. I was told to file for SSDI by my doctor on March 4th 2014 due to my Meniere's disease, I kept working and got to the point I could hardly (and can still hardly) do my necessary work habits on a daily basis so I applied on August the 11th 2014. On August 18th 2014, I got a call saying I was denied due to not paying enough into Social Security. The case worker suggested that I should apply for SSI until I work enough to have paid enough into Social Security, so I did the application on August 18th 2014 and submitted all doctor forms discussing my disease as well as all medication that they put me on for it as well as all of the medical decisions made on my disease treatments. On September 11th 2014, I checked my mail and had a packet in there to fill out about my medical info and job info over the last few years so I filled it all out and mailed it back.
I was wondering what the average wait time is to hear back on what the decision is going to be at this point with all the info said above.
