You don't have to go back to that doctor. It would make sense to see a neurologist. When a disabled person returns to work it is common for them to be given accommodations. If a neurologist determines your PN requires you may no longer work in certain environments--such as outside in the winter, your employer might be able to come up with something else for you, or it might be determined that you can not return to your former job. But, you're not treating the PN as if it's a serious condition. If you don't, your employer won't and SS certainly won't. |
