Hi ~ I don't think any such place exists, since having fusions in the first place makes the spine unstable and CAUSES you to herniate and need more fusions. It's quite well known that even when you don't have fusion (I didn't) but just have a laminectomy/disectomy that the levels above and below are gonna bulge and/or herniate sooner or later. The same holds true of fusions ~ the levels above/below are going to bulge/herniate too. It just causes instability in the spine. You've seen it yourself. I don't think any "place" can stop the progression. It's just the nature of the beast unfortunately.
I'm sorry you're having trouble again. This sure sucks, doesn't it?? I have a bunch that are herniated too, but because of osteoporosis, I'm inoperable. lol. So, not much I can do about it. Take care and God bless. I wish you the very best. Peace, Lee Quote:
