I AM SOOOOO ANGRY right now!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

The docs keep putting off my mom's surgery!!!!!!!:mad::mad:

It's been a week!!!!!! They know it's a tumor!!!!!
WHY DON'T THEY GET IT OUT OF HER SO WE CAN FIND
OUT IF IT'S CANCER OR NOT!?!?!?!?

WE CAN'T GET HER THE RIGHT TREATMENT, IF WE DON'T
KNOW WHAT IT IS!!!!!!!

I would hope they would rush if they think it is urgent, but maybe they suspect it is benign? :(:confused:

I guess it isn't somewhere they can do a needle biopsy to check?
I know it is frustrating. :grouphug:
Is she in pain, how is she feeling?

She is in A LOT of pain!!!!!!

I have NEVER in my life heard her complain
about anything...not even a headache.

It surprised me the other day when she asked
for something for the pain. They have her on
Morphine every 4hr.

They take her for an xray every morning then
she just lays there and stresses.

Mom had her surgery today.....
Good news-----the doc got all of the tumor out.
Bad news-----it is malignant.

We won't know much if anything more until pathology
comes back. We don't know if it spread to any lymph
nodes.

Whem I left the doc said she would be in recovery for ½ hour
to an hour then they would move her back to her room.

About ½ hour later I got a text from my dad saying my mom
was in ICU and NOT to come back to the hospital until he
says so!!!!

I AM SCARED!!!!!

Why can't you go also if she's in ICU?
I would want to be there anyway...at least in the hallway nearby..:confused:

They will only let 2 people in the ICU area per patient.
My dad and aunt were already up there and are up there today.

I wouldn't be allowed up there today any way.... I am sniffling, though I think it's allergies. Also my stomach is quesy but I haven't eaten much and my nerves are a wreck!!!!

I haven't heard anything today.... I did find out she was placed in ICU because she was having some breathing problems last night. They were ready to put her on a respirator but she calmed down and got her breathing under control. I think she will be in ICU for a few days so they can keep an eye on her and let her get some rest...I really don't know.

As for me.... I'm still a bit of a wreck and really scared.
