I'm sure she is in good hands, and take care of yourself,:) she'll need you to be healthy when she comes home. :grouphug:

My dad and aunt were already up there and are up there today.

I wouldn't be allowed up there today any way.... I am sniffling, though I think it's allergies. Also my stomach is quesy but I haven't eaten much and my nerves are a wreck!!!!

I haven't heard anything today.... I did find out she was placed in ICU because she was having some breathing problems last night. They were ready to put her on a respirator but she calmed down and got her breathing under control. I think she will be in ICU for a few days so they can keep an eye on her and let her get some rest...I really don't know.

As for me.... I'm still a bit of a wreck and really scared.

Thanks to all of you for your support & prayers!
HUGS,
Abbie

If you feel up to it; might make her feel good just to know you are in an area close by. Maybe your aunt can leave for just a few minutes so you can go in.

Careing and praying,

Gerry

My dad told all of us kids, family, and extended family & friends NOT to come up until he said so.....

My dad is a man of few words so when he speaks.....WE LISTEN!!!!
Family & friends alike know this.......

Hi Abbie

You have my prayers too. It is so hard when our families suffer from some unexpected health condition. I hope the surgery turns out just fine, and that there is a good outcome. ginnie:hug:

Your Mom will be fine - she has oodles of loving support. Hugs!

Mom is out of ICU and back in a regular room.

Dad said she is feeling better and looks better too!

We are still awaiting the pathology reports...so we are praying for a good report. (Plus I have everything crossed that I can cross)

I haven't been to see her today as I think I have a stomach bug, it might be nerves but i'm not taking any chances that I might make my mom sick.

Thank you again for your support, positive thoughts, and continued prayers!

Prayer and support are never too much to ask for. The worst part about dealing with crap and stress is that it keeps happening and we do need continued prayer and support. I'm very new here but I'm with you too, Sugar . Hang on tight now, prayers for ya'll

How is your Mom doing, Abbie?
