oh jaded, please dont do this to yourself. you love your mom and did what you thought was best for her at that time.

being a care giver is NOT an easy thing. i speak from experience. Your mom is back with the person she trusts the most. all you can do is let her know you love her unconditionally.

Unhappy

Jaded -- I am sorry you have to go through that. Know that you did nothing wrong but love your mom. We went through something very similar with my grandmother. It's rough.

I'm back.....! That's never a good thing. I tend to come back whenever I need comfort and the depressive/suicidal thoughts trickle back in (don't worry I won't do anything, I know better). The fact that they exist again though, I was doing SO good. Ugh. The stress just eats me up and the lack of sleep doesn't help. And the marital rollercoaster, blah. And the unemployment and financial woes... woe is me. Having a pity party up in here tonight. Playing depressing music never helps lure me out of it but digs me deeper into a comforting hole. I am optimistic this wont last this time. Last year was long enough to suffer through a funk. But I feel it trying and creeping in. ::::sigh:::::

That dang ever lurking BEAST of depression!! If the "core" of people were here, we'd be planning a party in the tree house dear lady. (hard for me not to call you dear girl)

Same old, same old reminder...that dark hole has sides and we are here reaching down to help you up and out of it. You are so busy, have been so busy and life can be difficult at times. But YOU dear wish, are a winner and will come out of this, and look back at this time and know that it was all worth it. Much love....stay in touch.

Popping in to send hugs!!!! Plus and extra one for Jaded

It's Midterm week for me.... 3 down 1 to go, plus one English paper complete.... would have done the last midterm today but woke up with severe pain in lower my back. So I took a pain med and went back to bed. I may study some this evening and try again tomorrow. I have until 11:55pm on Sunday night to get it completed.

I hope everyone has a GREAT Weekend and know that I LOVE YOU all very much and think of you all often!!!!!

HUGS!!!!
Abbie

Thumbs up Hey

I found a rope ladder for that tree house.....may we have a Banish Depression Party with

chips

salsa

guac

sweets galore- some of those to live for treats Wren prepares????

finger food......maybe dim sum, sashimi [the real good stuff], little meats, sandwiches, smoked salmon, capers.......lots of capers

those little petit fours

chocolate....maybe a chocolate fountain with things like pound cake and fruit to dip?

something to drink that won't make us sick..... like

foods from all lands, like Hungary, and Italy, and Switzerland [fondue?], and and and and ....... well, you know.......

and maybe music??????

I will let you all dance, as my legs do not work so good anymore for that activity.....

We could have a white elephant exchange....... well, it is a tree house..... maybe baby ones, like would fit in the trunk/boot of your car.....

Party?

Smile Party

Time is now until partied out

Place is the treehouse in the figurative giant oak in Alffe's backyard

Accommodations, being figurative, are as large as necessary.....

So..... the band is warming up,

the goodie tables are arrayed,

the rope ladder is down,

and we are all ten years old again, well able to hoist ourselves up to the boughs of the tree and the marvelous tree house for our club,

all comers are welcome,

treats are appreciated,

being ten years old, each of us, all of life and what it has to offer is lain before us to explore however we might,

isn't such an experiment glorious?

What would you do if you were ten again in a treehouse full of Wren's fudge and other delights????

What would we do if we were 10 again?? You've thought of everything Mark...foods, a band, rope ladder, friends, popcorn!! love popcorn. And I really do have an enormous oak tree right outside the barn. We could move the party into the barn if anyone is afraid of heights and there's a basketball board in there that 10 year olds love. And wren, because of you I made banana nut bread this morning! And sweet potato soup is bubbling. (that is a*s*s* soup to those who know. *grin)

I think Pter is smiling down on us and suggesting a baseball game. Pick your base peoples! ~sigh
