I wonder at how tired I am from 2 nights and a day with granddoody. Whew, little guy wears me out. Had my usual Friday night movie night with my daughter, and then last night babysat for them so that they could spend the evening with Son-in-law's father and step mommy.

I wonder that it's been fairly nice yesterday and today. I have a lake in my driveway, but there is a plenty of snow everywhere. What a mess it will be when a thaw comes! We have had snow on the ground since November for the first time in many years.

I wonder how excited I am to be going to Hearts United for Animals next weekend. Daughter is going with me. We are taking a bunch of supplies to donate to them. We're leaving Friday afternoon, spending the night in a motel in Nebraska City (oh woohoo) and then heading on to Auburn, NE the next morning. ALL weather permitting of course. Never know when snowstorms are coming lately.

I wonder how it will feel to walk into a facility filled with rescued, abused doggies looking for homes. But they keep the ones that aren't physically or emotionally available for adoption. They keep them in their 'Sanctuary for Sweethearts".

I wonder at how excited I am to hold as many of those doggies as I can and kiss them and hug them and love them up.

I wonder how excited I was to see Telly, a dachsund, finally find a wonderful home. Telly is paralyzed in the back and has special 'wheels' to get around, and boy does he fly! We were laughing because I told her that they are so much like hot water bottles in the bed under the covers! And the book says exactly that, and that is why doxie lovers fall in love with them, LOL.

I wonder at how funny granddoody was last night when he just wouldn't go to sleep. I heard noises and went in to check. He was in the corner of his bed and had ripped up a new book I brought him. I said, "Are you mad at grandma?" He said, "No grandma." I said, "Why did you rip up the book!?" He said....."because." LOLOL!

I wonder at how exasperating it can be when they suddenly start saying over and over... "What's that? What's that? What's that?"
