Nutrtionally, eating a piece of fruit is a good way to jump start your metabolism in the morning.

If you want something to grab and go in the AM, just put it in a plastic container the night before. Make it part of your nighttime ritual.

Something a little messier but with added protein would be a breakfast I got out of the cookbook from the TV show The Biggest Loser.

Slice a banana in half, spread peanut butter then with vanilla low fat yogurt. Sprinkle with granola.

You could make everything and just wait until AM to sprinkle the granola.
