I guess we won't get supper, if I let the macaroni from the mac and cheese boil in water without the macaroni.

I had a random thought, but I don't know where it went.

A little more than random thoughts and ponderings but it really makes you think . . .

It is a really neat site. I found it through stumbleupon dot com - another cool site. They are really cool things that make you think about the little things that people do for others and we each do for others. It kind of motivates me to do more little things instead of the big things.

I kind of wish people would think of these types of things instead of being so negative about everything all the time...this country would be better for it...

I am pondering what my new art room is going to look like.

What kind of art do you do? Drawing, charcoal, oils, ceramics, quilting, scrapbooking?

Not an artist myself, but DD, mom and MIL are.

If I read this here, sorry for the repeat:

I read that there are as many MRI machines in Chicago as there are in all of Canada.

I am wondering how DD got to be so smart... oh, wait... yup, that was me!

DD 5, just read me a 40 page first grade reading book and only had trouble with 3 words, she was able to sound out the rest of the words that she has not learned yet. Not bad for a kindergarten kid who FINALLY got to go back to school today after two and a half weeks off because of the snow!

I am very proud of her. She is really excited about reading so I am hoping to encourage her as much as I can.

oh, I should probably add that 40 pages sounds like a lot but there are only one or two sentences per page... but still!
