Default Older than dirt

My granddaughter turned 20 a couple of weeks ago, and Monday my son will be (gasp) 40. How did that happen? How can I be old enough to have a MIDDLE-AGED child??? Oh no...does that mean I have to act my age?

act your age? NEVAH! bite your tongue missy!

I am floored that my oldest turned 26 this past year! When I think back at all the struggles I went thru to just feed him, and keep him headed in the right direction. There were many days I didnt want to let him live to see the sunset. He was a royal handful!

Whats scary is when you look in the mirror and see your mother! I look at my hands and see hers.

I know!!! But, that's not such a bad thing. My oldest will be 27 this April.

He took me to the grocery store not too long ago and we were waiting for the bagger to finish up one last bag so we could leave. The man asked if I wanted him to take the cart to my car for me but I told him no, my son is here to help me. He looked at us and said "Maam, this couldn't be your son. You don't look old enough to have a son this old." I was on cloud nine!! Then on the way home DS said "that man probably thought you had your first child when you were like 14 or 15!" Talk about busting a bubble!

P.S. I don't act my age and probably never will!!!

I plan on acting my age starting my next birthday. I'm going to be 60, and I plan on acting like ten six-year-olds.

That's the spirit! Growing old is inevitable.....growing up is optional!

Dej -- You hardly look older than 26 yourself! You start having kids when you were 5?

(You prob dye your hair and spend 30 min on your make-up every morning. Or else, you're posting an old pic. I want to look that young! My oldest is 20.)

The avatar or pic I use here in this place is from a game I play. I have played that character a long time. My FB page has my real pic on it, but its about 5 years old. I am 47, and a 1/2. My son was a handful growing up. He was stubborn, bossy, rude, and I had to hold a tight leash on him for years. he hated it then, but appreciates it now. He wanted to drop out of school when he was 14, because he thought everyone hated him. He was always sensitive, and easily offended. poor kid.

I am finding as I grow older, I like me alot more! I used to also worry about pleasing others, or meeting certain standards. Now, I am just me. like it or lump it.

I doubt that I'd find you on FaceBook by looking up Dejibo from New Hampshire! :-)
