Well, at least we'd all understand when we stayed in our rooms and avoided each other!

Wish we could have a picnic or something...we all know that we're there for each other in post and spirit...but still when you're alone in your house, it's difficult.
Sal, we love ya and know you have value...I'm glad that you at least have us to communicate with. Know that we feel your pain...and relate...

I've gone through long periods where I don't answer my cell phone because I can't stand the thought of answering and having a conversation because it might make me tired. So yes, I understand completely dear Sally.

Many times/days I don't answer the phone or make a call. I just don't feel like talking. I guess that is why I lost so many friends from the past, I think. When I worked it was totally different.

Many are busy with their families, others may ask me to go to Atlantic city with them or do lunch. Lol I can't be running around with energy like they have and in the heat and sun. I may need a nap, they don't.

They look at me and still think I am the same person of eons ago, I am not. Sally you look very fit too.

When you turn down invitations, for whatever reason, they stop inviting, JMO. Human nature. Also, they don't get it.

That's why I have a answering machine. Yes, I still have a land line. My cell in for emergency only. Trouble is no one has ever asked me for my cell phone number. Hmm Only my Granddaughter for her cell phone. Yikes!

I have a DH but he does, what he does. I don't hold him back. He loves to do sports. I can't.

I can commiserate with you.
{{{{ SALLY }}}} Whine away. We all do. It makes us feel better to write our thoughts down.

my husband cant stand letting the phone ring, but me...I am tired of it. its always someone wanting something or a whiney neighbor who is healthy, wealthy and strong wanting to tell me how much her life stinks. so...I let it ring! dont care! The DH says "dont you hear the phone ringing?!" yep! I do. and i just dont care.

I am thinking about taking a vacation in the yard in my camper. The DH wont pull it anywhere, and I badly need a vacation, so why not do it in the driveway?! I can pretend I am not home, and go hide out there.

Sally - I have to agree with you. It can get pretty boring when you are limited in mobility, fatigue, and other functioning. Some days my mind is screaming at me to get going and do something but my body is saying no freaking way. I get restless on those days. So, I can relate to what you are saying.

B2Y - Oh no! Not the commune discussions again. What would we call it this time? Bored Broads? Yawning Ranch?

It doesn't matter what we call it. Most of us won't remember anyway.
