I hate tuna casserole too!

Thankfully I'm allergic to seafood now, so I have a great excuse to not eat tuna casserole when offered it now.

I don't like tuna casserole, but I love creamed (white meat tuna) on toast. Yum yum.

I'm still thinking, but here's Bob's answers:

The best thing he ever ate was buckwheat pancakes with sausage patties and sausage gravy.

The worst thing he ever ate was some kind of shepherd's pie like casserole that somebody brought over years ago (and he LOVES shepherd's pie) but he said he could hardly choke it down.

I know the worst thing I ever ate: Years and years ago, my future (and now former) sister-in-law warned me that I'd hurt my future (now former) father-in-law's feelings if I didn't eat his famous oyster stew. Man oh man. The broth wasn't bad, but I held my breath and swallowed those sea boogers whole, and it like to killed me.

I tasted tripe for the first and only time when I was a teenager. It wasn't too bad...until I found out that it WASN'T some kind of fish.

It's a slimy white meat

......... and comes from the lining of a cow's stomach!

And...... if you happen to LOVE cow's stomach, tripe from the stomach of sheep, goats, pigs and deer are also considered a delicacy. YUK!

Oh, I just remembered the best thing I ever ate! My friend Linda and I were chatting about our favorite foods, flavors, etc., and a few days later she surprised me with a special dessert that she invented using almost every favorite I'd mentioned!

It was a lemon pound cake, with a raspberry and cream cheese filling, and confectioner's sugar and slivered almonds on top. It was awesome. She said she couldn't figure out how to include chocolate without ruining it, but I don't think chocolate could ruin anything. Anyway, that was the best thing I ever ate! Oh man!
