Temps were 20 here this AM..expecing the same tonight! Unusual for this early in Dec. we usually get our cold weather in January. The cold used to not bother me in fact, I loved it..now I get the spasms much more.

COLD!!!!! Temps in low teens, wind chills of 0. No snow. Since our windows have no cracks my DH thinks they are winter safe. This house was built in 1978 under minimum standards!

I know where Kettering is. I attended the University of Dayton. It's been some years since I have been back to visit but I still have some friends that live there. Everyone believes that Chicago is so cold. I am not going to lie. It's really bad when that wind blows off that cold lake. At least its sunny for now.

Sitting in my office freezing. I have three floor to ceiling widows and my desk is near them. I think I am going to bring in an afghan to put over my legs. I also need some of those gloves with the finger cut out. MY friend who works in s different building had her windows open because her office if 80 degrees.

Highs have been in the low 20's with below zero wind chills. But at least it is sunny

almost one hundred years ago a man who lived near niagra woke to complete silence. He wandered the house and couldnt figure out what was wrong. He figured out that it was quiet because the falls had frozen over! Can you imagine how cold it must have been?

I think we're paying for that wonderful autumn, with temps in the 60s...it's cold here, but at least the sun is out
BTW, our fair Chi-town is called the Windy City because the politicians, even back in the good ole' days, were known as windbags, thus the moniker

Yeah that's my little pumpkin. It's a girl. I'm afraid to trim her nails, so we were on our way home from the groomers. She doesn't quite look like that anymore. I took her to the groomer on Monday and they cut her to look like a poodle. She's a bichon/poodle mix.
