My first paying job was at the University of Dayton, scoring tests on an old fashion computer/scoring machine. I was 16 and made 50 cents per hour.
![]() My first owned car was a 1964 Chevy Biscayne stick shift. Filled it up every 2 weeks for 6.00 and drove it till the next fill up. ![]() Those were the days, my friends. ![]()

My first paying job was at a much younger age. Mom would pay me by the piece to iron. I very proudly starched and ironed my Dads shirts that he preached in. I think she was trying to help me earn money because I also got paid for ironing my baby brothers bibs!
I don't remember what my first car was. It was whatever my DH owned when we got married. We liked the Hondas when they first came out. It was a very boring car but good gas mileage. |
