We had an electronic organ with color keys that I played off and on as a kid. I never could learn to read music. Music class bored me.

I tried to learn the flute in high school but dropped that because we had a creepy music teacher, and again, it bored me.

My mom's side of the family had lots of musical talent, but it missed me. Our youngest son has it though. He plays drums in a country rock band and also plays bass and regular guitar and sings.

I play the air guitar.

I used to play the piano, but my fingers dont do what I tell them anymore. I was huge on djembe drums or congo drums, but my rthymn is off. I could play the guitar, but the nerve pain on my finger tips makes holding a cord difficult. I always wanted to play the violin, but no one ever offered to teach me. Banjo is fun, but I cant do the finger thing anymore. it causes too much nerve pain.

I guess I will stick to the air drums, and the air guitar now.

LOL Dej! I play all sorts of instruments in my imagination! When I listen to music I am usually "playing" some instrument. I'm quite good too!

In my imagination I can sing and also dance plus write the choreography for the dances of Madonna. My work is actually in very high demand. They know me by first name and have me on speed dial.

LOL Doydie! That counts.

It's amazing what we can accomplish and do with our imagination.

I posted the other night when it 'went down' ... so, this is what I said: LOL

I played the flute - because I had buck teeth and an overbite ... sorta the 'bugs bunny' look ... but the boys called me Beav - and would walk by and ask me to sharpen their pencils ...

I marched in parades and half-time football games for our high school ...

while on bus ministry (Sunday for church) .. picked up kids from the inner city ... (I was blessed that God kept me safe!!) ... and we would sing fun songs ... and one little girl said that "I sang like Marie" ... the Donny & Marie Show was popular then ...

I really can't sing - but back then ... I was pretty good - and had fun!!

p.s. I finally got braces in 7th grade ... and got them off before our sophomore pix were taken - and I smiled big time!! I love the dentist!!

couldn't really play the flute after the braces were off!!
