Design Star contestants had to do a 'tiny house'. I have seen several articles about them. I wish they had said that they would actually donate them to some one.Granted people who actually live in these 'tiny houses' wouldn't have been so frivolous with some of the furnishings but at least some one could use it. Some couples actually live in these things.

I thought some of the acts tonight on AGT were worthy of going through and some not. I do like the cooner, can't remember names. I have never liked the high school dance group that dance like walking zombies. I love the children that dance behind the curtain and I love Illuminate. I don't like the 10 year old girl, yes she is talented. I like the opera singer but not her voice tonight and I can't remember how long it has been since i have known that a grown man has had a goldfish in his mouth. That went out in the 60's! Have I covered them? Oh, Peirce behaved himself a little more tonight.

I have not finished watching AGT, we saw an hour last night. I agree with you Doydie...

I love the kids behind the curtain. Silhouettes. It is one of the more innovative acts. But the kids are too young to have to do Las Vegas every night!

I also like the rock band Poplife(?). That little girl has a lot of charisma. I did not like the Michael Jackson thing last night though. The Beatles "come together" was really good. The stage props are good for the group. Again, not something I would want for young people, to be under contract to perform in Las Vegas.

I agree with you on the young single girl. She is VERY good but the other acts I just mentioned are better IMO.

That magician is handsome! He looks older than my son who is the same age!

me too. DH had picked the magician over the Poplyfe and for a Vegas show, I would agree. But I liked watching this young band perform so I am glad they made it.

The crooner did a great performance this time, it was smart to have a big band accompany him. I don't think it was an act when he did not celebrate going to the finals over the 11 year old. Made me like him even more than I had before. DH was paying more attention to his laptop when crooner began to sing and said it was amazing to look up and see it was not Frank Sinatra.

@doyde. So do you have a favorite to WIN?

My two faves are Silhouettes - most original acts of the four.

but my heart goes to Poplyfe...there is something about that girl that speaks to me...

I do not think the band will win, it is just an emotional pull.

I guess as far as winning AGT and getting the prize that goes with it, I would go with the crooner because the Illuminate will make it without the money. Poplyfe is good but I see what stardom does to young people and those kids have had enough hard things to hit them in their short lives I don't want stardom to make it even worse. Siluoette, Yeah I know that's not the right spelling, also is a great group and would do well with a show but most of this team is young and need to concentrate on being young. I think they will gets lots of oppotunities to do shows. So I guess I am saying the crooner is my fave. But at age 61 and my husband loves crooners and sings karaoke and does a fantastic job of crooners, I really love him. Just his whole persona does not say crooner. I do hope he uses some of his prize money, because he is going to get the prize money, to get some dental work.

Set your DVRs next Wednesday. The finale for AGT is the same hour as the first episode of Survivor!
