Default Hot tired, can't wait to go home

So I'm in a hotel tonight. (went to a baseball game) and wouldn't you know it. The freaking air conditioning is not working well in my room. Normal people would probably be ok, but I'm not, and the stupid front desk guy won't give me a fan. (he has one)

And both my eyes hurt when I move them. So now I'm worried that either the heat is melting down my optic nerve, or it's a new MS thing. Eyes have been hurting for a few days.

Hope I can sleep. Have to be up early and I'm going to see Harry Potter tomorrow. Hope I don't fall asleep thru that and that the theatre has working a/c

So the front desk guys either WONT move you to a new room, upgrade your room, or give you a fan? I hope you have a bunch to say before you check out. I woud be getting that room for FREE if I were you. If not, I would write to the parent company, and explain that you checked in as a "handicap" status and were treated to sweltering heat, no AC, bad management...They would be sending me an apology and some coupons for free nights. Oh course I am a Beotch and refuse to let people treat me badly. esp when I am paying for it. if it was free, I might be quiet, but not free, means I get what I want!

How was the movie?! Im so jealous! the DH and I are going this week during a noon showing, but we can wait. I am not looking forward to the 3-D as it gives me a headache, but I want to see this movie.

Havent seen the movie yet. Going in a few hours.

I kind of was hoping he'd move me to another room. He didn't tho. I tried playing the "I have MS, and if I get hot..." card, but either he didn't have any other rooms or he was just being a putz.

Went back to the room and slept as close to the air conditioner as I could, so I could get the little breeze from it. It never got cooler than 75 in the room and that's too warm for me apparently. If he'd given me his fan that might have helped. They really need ceiling fans in hotels. If you have an a/c that's kind of working, a ceiling fan would have created a wind chill effect and I would have at least felt like I could breathe. Still air, makes me feel like I can't breathe

Gonna go get some crappy food from the continental breakfast and wait for my boyfriend to come get me so I can go to the movie with him. Hope I can stay awake during HP. I got something like 3 hrs. Yesterday I got 4, and Friday I had 3 hrs of sleep. When I get home, I'm going to sleep for 12 hrs.

When you check out, ask for the MANAGER! tell him that it was UNacceptable that you had to BEG for interventions that wouldnt come. You requested to be moved, and didnt get moved. you asked for at least a fan, and were refused. That you are EXTREMELY unhappy, and will probably suffer a relapse if from nothing else, the stress, lets not even mention having to sleep in a hot room. When he asks how you want him to handle it be sure and be complimentary, say "i have always loved your hotel and I stay here each time we come out, but unless you can make this right, I wont be back. I expect you to remove the charges for my stay here, AND I expect that you are going to be upset enough at my situation to give me vouchers for at least one free stay to make up for this horrible night." Then get quiet, and let him take it from there.

Im sorry you had to suffer thru the night. I would be so blind I wouldnt be able to see the movie! I would speak my mind.

I'll try that. Right now I'm just tired and want to go home.

Went down to get some of the crappy breakfast, people were rude. Just trying to get to the food was a struggle. Some lady was blocking access to half the stuff because she was making breakfast for her kid. I finally just grabbed a bagel, a bunch of bacon and then made the woman who was blocking everything move her butt so I could get some strawberry jelly and an apple. Sat down at the only table, put the jelly on the bagel. Stuffed the bacon into the bagel and wrapped it in a napkin and put the apple in my pocket and then came back upstairs to eat.

Good thing the room has a microwave, the bacon was cold.

At least in the room I could eat in peace and watch what I wanted to on the tv.

Wish my boyfriend would wake up and hurry up and come get me.

Good thing the baseball game I came to see last night was good, got myself some neck coolers with the team name on them. The coolers are the gel kind you add water to. Work great. Been wanting some of those. They were $2. Might have to send the boyfriend back to the park to buy more of those for me if he goes to anymore games this summer.
