I have the Motorola Xoom with the Kindle app so I can read ebooks if I so desire, but I like reading paperbacks in bed before I go to sleep so I don't often use the Xoom for that purpose. I get my paperbacks used from Amazon for cheaper than ebooks on the kindle app.

Just ordered another tablet, the Samsung galaxy tab 4G that should arrive tomorrow. My Xoom is dominated by family members so the galaxy tablet will be all mine. It will run on Verizon's network, and 4G service will be here in about a month's time so I will be ready.

I got an extra $50 off the galaxy tablet because I ordered a new smart phone for my youngest son. There's a current promo in our area for buying a smart phone and getting $50 off of any tablet on contract so I saved some money with that promo.
