I remember the turkey and stuffing TV dinner. My Mom used to buy them for us as a treat! Gad! What little we knew about additives and preservatives back then. We could have probably let that thing sit out for months and it wouldn't go bad!

There used to be dinners for kids called Kid Cuisine. This was in the 80's when I remember getting them. My boys were very young then but they thought getting one of those was just the best thing. I wonder what on earth is in those things? I'm afraid to look!

I just remembered, there IS one Hungry Man dinner we get every once in a blue moon, kind of a "junk food" treat. It's the Popcorn Fish with potatoes in cheese sauce. My husband hates fish, so I get the fish nuggets or whatever they are, and he gets the cheesy potatoes with a couple of eggs. It's so bad, and way more than enough, but it's like craving a Big Mac, I guess.

Hey, I resemble that remark I lived off of those things for years before I got married (23 years ago). And even after that I still ate them. But alas, the waistline expands, especially with the meds that make stuff like that seem so tastie (sp?). So, I'm trying to enjoy more healthy meals too

I liked those dinners, too, at the time! Now I would consider them about two notches above "nothing to eat".

Thank Goodness for cheapo meals that were quick and easy or I would have not gotten any nutrition at all in my 20s.

I now wouldnt be able to live off of them, but back then I worshipped them.

I love Marie Callenders ... and sometimes the single portions are $1 each! ... but, I also enjoy the JimmyDean CROISSANT egg/cheese/sausage ... for breakfast ...

I realized that I need an EGG a day - it's been a good difference!

can't remember who mentioned it - but, I'm going to try the Lean Cuisine Spaghetti .. it's that good, huh?? thanks!

I think if I had a freezer full of Banquet meals my husband would go to sleep with a smile on his face.

Oh my gosh, Kelly, I remember those! My oldest son loved them ! He called them "Kid Bazines", lol. My kids also loved lunchables. What garbage, ugh!
