Default Coupons on ebay

This might be a fairly easy way to augment income for someone who has the time. I just bought coupons from ebay for cat food, weight watchers entrees and italian ice, things I use all the time. The ones I purchased were 10 for $1.00 with free shipping so I spent $3 with this seller. Not sure how much ebay charges but I would guess with ebay fee, paypal and shipping it is probably close to .50 in expenses so the net would probably be .50 per set of 10.

At our recycling center you could get all the extra coupon inserts you want if you are willing to dumpster dive. It would definitely take a lot of sales to make money but with the right Sunday papers I'm betting someone could $10a week. Doesn't sound like much but on a fixed income every little bit helps.

Has anyone tried this?

hey JulesA ... that really sounds interesting ... I've been working on the coupon thing, too ... not EXTREME ... but it is nice to see the total drop when the coupons are added!!

thanks for the insight! I love eBay ...

That's a good idea. I try to use coupons on the things I buy most often but it's usually cleaning products because there just aren't alot of coupons for produce or unprocessed foods.

I looked into one of the extreme couponing websites that was suggested.......looks like the "extreme couponers" have caused alot of the big chain grocery stores to really take a look at their coupon policies and make some changes.

The site I liked no longer offers full inserts. Only clipped individual coupons. And they had a big announcement that stores were changing their policies to only allow one transaction and a limit on the number of coupons a person could use for one product.

Jules, I still clip all the coupons in the Sunday paper inserts even though I don't use many of them. Let me know if there's some you want and I'll be happy to send them to you. I'd be happy to know somebody got to use them!

Wow so I decided to look for some cat litter (arm & hammer) coupons and they are selling $3 coupons in packs of 10 for $15! Now there is a decent profit if someone got a hold of a bunch of newspaper inserts.
