Be safe all nasty looking storm that will affect many. We'll get a post tropical storm in New Brunswick (Maritimes) Canada at most after it passes many other locations.

Most disappointing hurricane ever. Glad it veered off course and headed further away from me. It's rained all day... the worst part id supposed to be hitting now, and it stopped raining. Most of Richmond which is further inland is without electricity. See, had I not gone to Home Depot and hurt my back trying to lift a propane tank and stock up on all those supplies, we would have been hammered.

are you sure the EYE wasnt over your house? When the eye passes you its calm, bright and so clean smelling, and then the backside hits ya and can do just as much damage as the front side.

Its very rainy here this morning, but the eye isnt supposed to be at us till later this afternoon. We shall see. Everything is ready to go, so my only nemisis at this point is falling trees.

nope that was the end of it. I stayed up til 1:00. We got some wind gusts, a few small branches down and that is about it. Beautiful sunny day today. Most of my friends are without power, a few trees down and that was about it. Which is good.

Mom's friend who was roughing it out on the NC coast said it was a lot smaller than she expected.
