Default My kids

A week ago we went to Louisville to help celebrate my grand daughters 10 year birthday. Here are a few pics. The first one is the birthday girl, she is 10. The next is her sister who will be 5 in November. The next one is my 2 daughters and the last is my sister and I. I hate to have my picture taken, I am always behind the camera. I don't know why in the 3 pictures that were taken of us I was looking up in the air the whole time. It's like a mug shot! This is my sister that had breast cancer and had so many many problems after. She is cancer free but still has so so many problems that they have no idea of what is wrong.

Cute kids!

What you are actually saying is considering everything your sister has gone through and is going through, you are truly blessed to still have her here to talk with and hug?

Good for you. That may be the best medicine for both of you.

Yes Craig, I am totally blessed. In fact we will be going out in an hour. We had a tradition when my Mom was alive. We would all go out to eat to this one particular family style restruant and the other 2 would pay for the birthday girls meal. We still meet but pay for our own meals. It's not the same but we still feel like we need to do it. So I am totally blessed. I also have 2 wonderful brothers but they don't live around us.

Even though in the summer time I don't see them much, I can look at that pic of the little one and just feel her in my arms, cuddling with a book.
