why was Coach considered a villian? Can't remember anything more about him than he was quirky.

@Sally? You know you want to vent!!!

I think Coach was considered a villian because he was manipulative and the very tall tales he would tell and no one knew whether they were true or not. He could talk on and on about himself. I don't know if you watch the Ponderosa videos of Survivor but when he was kicked off and sent to Ponderosa he was so sweet. He played the guitar and sang and made some really good friendships.

@Doydie. If you could be a villain or a good guy on Survivor, which would you be? I think I would choose villain.

not in real life! Then again, some of the good guys have been the ones I wanted to win.

I will say I wanted Russell to win last time even though he had been voted off early. I admired his understanding of human nature and the game.

I don't think I could play Survivor. Not because of the MS but just the game. I know how it's played. The person who has sworn to have your back and never vote for you my be the first person to vote for you when it helps his chance to win. So many players are hesitant to really show who they are. I couldn't do it. Plus I like 3 good meals a day!

Lol, I wouldn't be able to keep my fat mouth shut and would be sharing my unsolicited opinions which probably wouldn't win me too many votes although in general I have had a knack of hanging on the fringe of the power crowds so hopefully that would keep me the game for a while.

In my younger days I do think I would have enjoyed trying it although of course with MS no way would I be willing to take the risk of the physical stress on my body now. Course they probably would take one peek at MS on my application and toss it in the trash anyway.

I'd say "alota weird." His stories of being kidnapped by a 3ft. tribe yada yada yada. He also said he invented the whole ninja thing. Whatever! He is a nut; nice but a nut. He's is very talented musically. He is a conductor in my town and has been fired from coaching the womens soccer team because he flirts too much with them.
I liked that he prayed with that Hanse guy last time. I appreciated the need for prayer.

Prayer is good, just not using religious beliefs to condemn others, as Russell's nephew seemed to be doing.

Do you think Brandon (is that his name - Russell's nephew) is sincere or using religion as a ruse?

Is Coach a christian or is that fake too?

If I were on the island, I would be voting to eliminate both of them because they prayed together. It would be an alliance to break apart.

It has more to do with who votes for who rather than a set of beliefs.

Coach's wacky stories were just campfire entertainment. I thought of him as a storyteller.

I would love to say that they are both sincere but with Survivor you never know. Coach does seem a little more, oh the word just left me. I want to say serene but I don't think that's the word I was going to use. He definitely isn't as verbose sitting around the old campfire. Now why can I think of a word like verbose but not the word I am still trying to think of to describe Coach this season. Maybe the word is sedate.
