She was pretty rushed when she got there. Poor lady, she was on call at the hospital and had been interrupted 3 times to talk on the phone and when she finished office hours had 3 consults to do. First thing she said was that she hoped I was her 'well baby check' for the day!!! I laughed and said that I thought it would be. She was very impressed that I had lost 28 pounds since last November!!!!! She saw a tremor in my fingers in the nose to finger test. I had never noticed it and still don't notice it. She also continues to wonder if this is really MS or maybe it could be a clinically isolated MS. I have had 2 episodes and still the one MRI lesion since my first MRI in 1997. Next year she may schedule me for a follow up MRI. She used to do them every 2 years and may move me to every 3. So she was able to leave the exam room with a happy face and only one patient left to see. That is in the office. I remember when she did my consult in the hospital. It's a long and detailed consult and she doesn't leave any stone unturned. You know you have been examined when you see her as a new consult.
