How many of you have been keeping up with the bachelorrette?

I have been fateful. I could not believe and I mean could not
believe that Deeana picked Jesse instead of Jason.

I gave it a long thought and came to the conclusion that she seemed to
be playing someone to hurt them like she was hurt by Brad. That is just my
opinion. Also when the other guy (sorry can"t remember his name) came
back to see if they still could get together because he truely loved her
and she crys and says she does love him just not enough.

I really didn't care for her on the Bachelor when Brad said no. I thought
he made a good decision. Now she had these 3 guys saying how much
she loved them and then to pick the worse out of the 3 is beyond me.

I can't help venting on this " SORRY" It just made me sick how to see
her use these men

This way in a reasonable time she can say "ADIOS"

Just let the steam out of my ears :D:D

Jappy

Blondi 07-08-2008 07:40 PM

Jappy, I was shocked as well when she didn't choose Jason. But I thought more about it and actually think it is really cool that she chose someone she became friends with first. She and Jesse had serious chemistry. You could see it the night they had their one on one date and danced. I don't know. I was so rooting for Jason, but in the end, I think she made the right choice. It just sucks that he had to get his heart broken.

On a brighter note... BB10 starts this weekend!!!

doydie 07-09-2008 12:20 AM

Just read an article on the internet about BB 10. They said they are going back to the basics. No pairs, secret past relationships, etc. It also gave names, ages and occupations. Talked a little about the house. I am not a BB fan. I watched the Evil D season and decided it wasn't for me. Plus I just had to many reality shows and had to cut one out.

Jappy 07-09-2008 09:15 AM

Watched the last of HE##'s Kitchen. It was good. I was happy
that Christine one.

Could not believe that Jen asked Chef Gordon to write her a
letter of recommendation. She tried this night to spoil things for Parozzo
to loose and no team work at all.

Matt was on Christine's group. I think he is missing a few marbles.
He nearly messed things up for her.

Now to wait for next year.

Jappy

SallyC 07-09-2008 12:52 PM

Yep, I was very happy that Christine won HK..:)

And yes, Jen was a PITA, for sure and mean..

As far as Matt not playing with a full deck..Yep..:Crazy 2:

BB, this weekend...Yeaaaaaaa!!!!!!

doydie 07-09-2008 10:55 PM

Wow! Did anyone watch SYTYCD? That Ballywood dance was fantastic!

Jules A 07-11-2008 08:23 PM

Did anyone watch America's Greatest Dog or whatever its called? I can't watch that stuff again. There is just something about kicking people out that are only there with their beloved pooch trying to do their thing seems so heartless to me. Fortunately it didn't look like they are going to insult the dogs but still it wasn't a happy show in the end.

I am looking forward to BB!

SallyC 07-11-2008 09:53 PM

Thanks for the warning, Jules. I realize that the dog could care less...LOL, but, still, I think it's cruel..

doydie 07-11-2008 10:26 PM

Since I am a reality show addict, i watched the dog show. I appreciated that the judges were all dog experts. they gave behaviour suggestions. The funny little dog that was yipping so much was also licking his lips a lot during their performance. They said that it was because he was tense. So I appreciated that part of it. Now the dog house that the loser of the one competition was a little to much. I guess it's kind of like having to eat slop on BB though. The contestants themselves were very nnice. They couldn't see that guy live out in that huge doghouse so they brought out a mattress and a lot fo food for him. I also thought that the two girls who thought their dogs were Gods gift to man had to have been quite humbled by their lack of performance and the judges comments. I can't see dressing dogs like they do, shoes and everything.

I don't know what's wrong with me tonight. My thoguhts are all mixed up and you didn't see my initial spelkling!

Bb 10

The Houseguests' bio.s are in many places on the internet but here's a different spin -- Jen from BB 8's take:

http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx/?news=322303 (I am so happy she used the 'word' 'Jenuine' in one of her descriptions, LOL. :D)

Just a rumor, but a few places have speculated that the twist includes a secret room and mirrors. Also, I had read at some point that there were actually going to be 14 houseguests -- there have only been 13 revealed so there is also some speculation that IF there is a 14th houseguest it might have something to do with the secret room. Who knows for sure but apparently when Julie Chen was giving a tour of the house on the Early Show there were 14 slots on the "memory wall".

Supposedly, this season's "return to its roots" is in honor of the anniversary. Not buying it -- I take it as doublespeak for "bad ratings" for BB9! :p At any rate, I hope that's the case and that it's good season.

I hope everyone is having a good summer.

GladysD 07-12-2008 09:20 AM

I admit, I DVR'd and watched the season of "She's Got the Look" I'm totally into these models shows. I even like the ANTM :D

I was pleased with the show. Am looking forward to the next season. I loved seeing the difference {comparatively in my own mind} between this show and ANTM, such difference between 20yrs olds and the 35+crowd....maturity levels in interpersonal relationships really shines through :D

Well....I like the nanny shows too. those are my 'reality show' addictions :)

If it weren't for you BG I would be so out of the loop! Where you find this stuff I'll never know but I love it.

Bearygood 07-12-2008 11:42 AM

Jules, I didn't have to look very hard for this, LOL. I really haven't been on the case I'm afraid but seeing as it's starting tomorrow night I thought I'd better get on it! :D The 14 houseguests thing was very early on but the fact that someone noticed 14 memory wall slots is very interesting!

I HOPE this season is better than that last ragged one. Thank goodness their 15 minutes of fame is ending quickly! I hope there are some good characters on this one. As annoying as ****, Jen, Whaaaamber and Whinelle were, at least they made good conversation!

Bearygood 07-12-2008 11:43 AM

Oh my goodness! The forum censored me, LOL! I guess I need to refer to **** as Dickie or Richard.

Bearygood 07-12-2008 06:05 PM

CBS leaked a video of the house WITH houseguests!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKboEkYXW7A

And here's the clip from CBS's Early Show, an interview with the producer introducing the Houseguests -- worth watching. Jerry's wife has Parkinsons -- he came on the show to try to win money to care for her.

SallyC 07-12-2008 07:06 PM

Did you get a look at Big Brother UK?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqu6HtlAW3s&NR=1

doydie 07-12-2008 09:59 PM

I have a feeling that we may very well go over 1000 posts with this season of Big Brother!

I watched my DVR show if She's got the look finale finally. I think any of the 4 finalists would have been a good choice. I agree with you about the difference with SGTL vs ANTM. I don't thnk those young things could have done the final challenge of desinging and implementing their own mag cover with the 'tag' line and then sell it to the panel.

Bearygood 07-15-2008 10:02 AM

BB

It's a little early to tell for sure but it looks like this season of BB10 might be a good one!! Things are happening pretty fast and furiously (they've been in the house longer than the Sunday premiere) so for anyone interested in spoilers, I just posted one in the Social Chat section. Some of it we'll see tonight but they've already played POV in "real time".

Sally, I'll check out that BB link when I get a minute. A while back I saw some clips of BB UK from when Leo Sayer was on. (Remember the "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" guy?) Apparently he was pretty controversial on the show. The overseas versions are much racier than our version here! I was in Italy at the end of 2000 and caught some BB Italy. Didn't understand more than 3 words but I watched anyway, LOL! :D But oh boy...racy, racy!!!

Doydie, I saw only some of "She's Got the Look" but I really like the premise of the show. Tanya looks just like Veronica Webb!!!

Becky21 07-18-2008 11:51 AM

I hope it's ok that I started a Project Runway thread since it is one of my favorites.:)

I think BB is going to be really good this year.:) I don't think Jerry or Renny will last long with that group. It seems like it has changed so much over the years. I remember getting to know a little bit about the players but now all it is is plotting and back stabbing. Maybe I'm getting old but those young kids really have foul mouths. I can curse with the best of them but I don't curse it for no reason at all.:p

I also can't wait to check out Date My Ex with Jo & Slade from DH of OC. I can't imagine that being a good show with them on it. She is such a whiner.:p I do have to check it out to see if I can watch it. I didn't think I would like Denise Richards but I do and I've been watching it. I'm surprised by her!:)

I can't watch Lohan at all!!! That Dina and the kid Allie, drive me nuts with their attitudes!

doydie 07-18-2008 11:21 PM

I loved Project Runway! I always enjoyed watching the episode where they had to create a look from the grocery store. That one guy was so cockt, the girliscious guy. And the look on his face when he saw that he was in the bottom three, priceless. About the same when they told him that it looked like he had put a diaper on his model. YYou always feel so sorry for the first one out.

We made a last minute decision the other day to go down to Lexington and I forgto to set the DVR. So I missed the results show of SYTYCD and America's top dog. Anyone have any insight on either program? I got on SYTYCD website and found out who was eliminated and I think I can watch America's top dog online.

I've decided not to watch Date my ex since I didn't know either person in it. Plus some of my old drama seasons are coming back and I have to have time slots to watch them. Monk started tonight. I just love that guy. I read that Grissom is quiting CSI after this season! I can't imagine what the program will be like without him.

MSacorn 07-19-2008 12:51 AM

Oh no, Grissom is leaving CSI, what a major bummer. He's such an interesting character. Say it ain't so. :(

Bearygood 07-19-2008 11:46 AM

Flipping Out!

Does anyone watch "Flipping Out" on Bravo? (Paging Becky21, LOL?)

That Jeff Lewis just cracks me up!!!! :D

Becky21 07-20-2008 11:39 AM

You know I do.LOL:ROTFLMAO::ROTFLMAO:

Jeff just cracks me up too. I watched reruns yesterday afternoon until my nap time.:) I thought is was a horrible show at first but now I must admit I am hooked on "Flipping Out".:p:p

I especially love Zoila when she tell him to "shut up, Jeff"!:Thats-Funneh:

I have Kathy Griffin reruns on right now.:grin: It's the one where she is helping the school so she can be like Orprah.:D:D

:I-Agree: But actually, she tells him to "CHUT up!" Even better, LOL. :D

Love Zoila and I really do think that Jeff is a good guy. I didn't like him at all when the show first started but he seems to be a little more mellow this season -- as evidenced by such unusual (for Jeff) statements about his parter moving the furniture; "You have to choose your battles". I'm thinking that Jeff must have a new prescription. Next week with the 11 year old looks like it's going to be a hoot!

(I feel bad for Jenny.)

doydie 07-23-2008 11:02 PM

It's been several days since anyone updated us all on what we are watching.

Let's see. I watched the hilarious show Wipeout! It really is a show that requires very little skill, just a lot of luck and not being afraid of being embarressed.

Next show (that I can remember I watched) was America's got talent. Some absolutely stupid son and father team has this act 'the kof death' the son has his cobra get all in his fanned position and his Dad kisses the cobras head. They did not get put through to Vegas. Then they had this guy who does hand shadow tricks. It was funny but not Vegas worthy but they put him through anyway. I think they are through with audtions. If they aren't, I sure hope they are. I think it has taken them 6 weeks to get this far.

Tonight I watched SYTYCD. I think tonight was the best show they have ever had. Only one I didn't think was top quality was the foxtrot with Comfort and Mark. Both of them have had their fair share in the bottom 3 and I have a feeling they will tomorrow night to. They had this guest judge who in her critiquing said the word 'street' so many times I lost count.

Then I watched Project runway. They had to make a coctail dress using 'green' materials. But they had a catch, a first for the show. The models did the shopping for the dresses. So the designers had to work with what was brought back to them. Three of them brought back this very same ungiving fabric that just didn't make a good dress at all. Although I have never worn a coctail dress before, there were some enteresting dresses.

Tomorrow it's results show for SYTYCD and Americas top dog.

I know you BB fans have some things to say. Where are you all?

SallyC 07-24-2008 01:24 PM

Sheesh, I'm sorry, Doydie, that I haven't been reporting, lately, on my addiction..:D I have been enjoying watching BB and SYTYCD.

I like this BB10, it's so much better than the last one....more like it used to be. And, yes, all the dancers are great. It's getting harder to choose the best of the best. I think you are right about Comfort though.:(

I saw a itty bit of PR and wasn't so thrilled with it. I'm watching Shear Genius with awe, fun and a little gasp at some of the weirddo hairdos..

I'll try to keep up, but I'm liking some of the regular new shows, this summer...like The Closer and Saving Grace and some others, I can't remmber the name??

I admit that I'm not as addicted to reality TV as much as I should be..

Carry On..:grouphug:

Bearygood 07-24-2008 09:50 PM

I agree -- and I wouldn't be surprised if the last BB goes down in history as the WORST one ever!! I've done a complete 180 on Renny. I really like her now!

I've been watching "Shear Genius" too, Sally. This week's episode was very touching. That pretty gal (can't remember her name) has to go!!! IMHO, she's been really lucky.

SallyC 07-24-2008 10:54 PM

I did the same with Renee, I like her too and the body builder is just a big baby.

doydie 07-27-2008 10:14 PM

Anyone watch the final challenge spesode of Design Star tonight? I think this was the best season so far. The contestants were so nice to each other. The guy, Matt, had first choice of which former contestants to help who. He chose the lady 'cause he knew the other contestant would need the guy former contestant because of her doing a kitchen. They would both be very deserving of a show on HGTV.

SallyC 07-27-2008 10:34 PM

Oops body builder is on the block..:D ..on BB.

Not me Doydie, sorry.:)

MSacorn 07-28-2008 12:04 AM

I immerced myself in reality tv tonight. Boy do I need a life. :D

BB, I'm not thrilled with Keesha's choices, I thought she was going to put up Libra. Maybe Libra will get back doored. Although the self absorbed body builder is annoying, he should stay. Guess we will have to wait for the POV ceremony.

DS, I like both the finalists and Matt, has been my pick since the first episode. His gallent gesture of helping Jen by giving her, Mikey, the first day was so cool. He just seems genuinely sweet.

Food Nework Star. I think the wrong person won. It should have been Adam. The internet connection to a TV show is cutting edge. FN is just wrong. IMHO.

I have GSFJ recording and will watch that later this week. Got to head to bed now. I've got to work at my sisters shop and go to PT tomorrow.

's

doydie 07-28-2008 10:00 PM

Beth, what is GSFJ?

Tonight I watch American Gladiators!!!!! I even have my DVR set to record all the episodes on ESPN classic! I think next week is the finale. I wanted so bad the newlywed husband to win so he could compete next week with his wife. The guy that won tonight was so coccky.

I think USA got it right when they finally got Coffee off Nashville Star. I never liked the warble in his voice. He has great charisma but he's not a country star.

Wow, talk about finale, next week we have American Gladiaotr, Nashville Star, Design Star. Who knows, I may be missing some. I hope there are some new ones or some of the regular people shows that start new seasons after next week. I'll go bananas. What I really need is a new season of Survivor. I wish our cable networks had some of the old seasons on. I know I can buy them but why buy wehn you can watch them for free.

SallyC 07-28-2008 10:26 PM

On NS, I think the dark haired girl (not Melissa) should win..IMHO...she is the best. I like Melissa but the other one (what's her name) is better.:D

I think the other lady on NS is named Shawn. I agree she is good but I'm not sure if she will win it. I think it's between Melissa and Gabe. Although I just can't see how a woman with 4 children can handle being the next NS.

The auditions finally finished tonight on America's got talent. That Mother and daughter team that whistled. whew. I'm glad I didn't have to listen to them in the same room with them. Yes, they could whistle and I don't think I have ever heard of whistling in harmony, but doing a show in Vegas?

I was just reading on the HGTV web site of their new competition after Design Star, the Summer showdown. I think it should be interesting.

Loretta Lynn did it with more than four..:D

doydie 07-30-2008 11:14 PM

Watched Americas top dog and SYTYCD tonight. I just hated it when Tilman had to go home. He was an ugly dog but just so sweet. I guess he just wasn't photogenic enough for them.

SYTYCD was awesome tonight. I never have voted for anyone and I'm glad I didn't start tonight. I have enough stress in my life without having to decide which of any of those remaining 6 should go home. I noticed that there were several choreagraphers in the audience tonight. Maybe they have always been there and just not been mentioned. I just wonder if they are there looking at the remaining dancers to hire them, you know like talent scouts.

Oh, also recorded Project runway and watched it. I'm glad I don't live in New York and like to go out for a night on the town. I just don't see how designers think that some of their clothing is desirable. But some of them had some beautiful dresses. I was just suprised that the guy from Utah stayed in after they said his dress looked like a roll of toilet paper.

SallyC 07-31-2008 10:39 AM

BB on tonight. I hope, muscle bound goes home, he is acting like an *****..:p

And.....SYTYCD elimination tonight. I can't imagine who they will cut. No matter, they are all going to be stars.;)

doydie 07-31-2008 10:55 PM

I have never heard the judges congratulate all of the final 6 like they did tonight. I think they realized that any of those 6 could be the winner, unfortunately only 4 can be there next week. I also appreciated Kat mentioning the final 11 so Comfort could be included. I always enjoy the last night of competition because each dancer dances with everybody else. Even the two girls dance together and the two guys do. I am glad that Twitch made it to the final 4. Oh, I'm talking about SYTYCD.

SallyC 08-01-2008 11:28 AM

BB...Poohy Josh stayed but I think his days are numbered....I'm gettin a little sick of the old guy, too. he's a rabble rouser..LOL! I still like Renee..:)

SYTYCD...I was sorry that two had to leave, but, obviosly, someone had too..:( I wonder who will win?? Twitch, maybe?
