I really enjoyed SYTYCD tonight. You could tell that they were new at it and with each other. Some of the judges comments were that there was no 'chemistry' between the dancers. I really don't think that's fair to say at this time since they don't know each other yet. I'm really looking forward to seeing them advance. I guess I would say that the only one I didn't like was the pair that were the 'vagabond' dancers.

I find it odd that so many of these reality shows here in good old USA have foreign judges and hosts.

Well tomorrow night is Pirate Master. I found a neat sight that has a lot of spoilers on it. They have pictures pretty much to the end but sometimes can only speculate who is in them because of hair growth, etc. Apparently we have a new captain tomorrow night.

I was so sorry to see the first pair go tonight on SYTYCD. But someone had to be the first. They never really had a chance to show the public what they could do. It was unfortunate that the dance they were assigned to do had her in heels. She did look way to tall for the kind of romantic dance. I'm glad that the two that were selected to go were already a couple so that two other people don't have to get to know each other from scratch this week. I don't know if I'm saying that right but if you watch the show, hopefully you understand. Although I don't normally watch the kind of dance moves that are on the show, they are very beautiful to watch. I love contemporary.

As I thought, Azy.... I can't remember his funny name was elected Captain on Pirate master. I thought it was funny that he immediately developed an accent. I'm not sure his officers totally agreed with him evenly dividing the bounty though. But the crew sure liked it! I amazes me that some of the crew have come on the show and have no concept that it would be a physically, taxing job. I also think the challenges are kind of lame. Real pirates wouldn't have had the clues sitting out in the open like they are.

Just a side note for a reality show that normally would not be mentioned here. I watched Bob barkers last show of The price is right today. I was glad he got the award he got in the Daytime Emmys tonight. I will be anxious to see who his predecessor is. The girl that got on stage the first time is from here in my town. We were all proud although she didn't win much. She felt bad because the family made the trip for her sisters 18th birthday and she was the one picked to go onstage instead of her sister.

i agree it was harsh to eliminate 2 so early, but I think the point is to bring your best all the time. I wasn't impressed with last year's winners performance.

Azmyth and his accent was corny, maybe he needed to get into character. The whole show is contrived. I find it so interesting to see a sailing ship in action and the Carribbean water is so blue.

I recorded the am airing and just finished watching it. Too bad about your town girl. It still is cool to have that connection. I didn't watch the Emmy's but am happy Bob won. Thanks for sharing this info.

It seems to me either the reality stuff is a bummer so far this summer or we are all wrapped up in life issues.

Again I was stunned by the eliminations on So You Think You Can Dance for the 2nd week. Wha-at is going on. Maybe they are all too good. I don't know. I just wish I could move a fraction as well as they do.

I enjoy the torture of Hell's Kitchen. Haven't watched this weeks Top Chef yet. Pirate Master is losing it's edge and I will not record anymore.

On the bright side I saw a commercial for Big Brother it starts July 4th. Woo Hoo!

Anyone out there watching with me?

There are several cooking shows on that I think would be a little more
'gentle' to watch that Hells Kitchen. From what I've seen on the commercials, he really rakes them over the coals. So I haven't watched any of that show. I have watched some of Big Brother in the past, don't know if I'll watch it. Anyone watching the new Bachelor show, what is it 'The age of love'?

I guess I will always be a fan of the Survivor type shows so I'll stck with Pirate Master. They introduced a Captains pardon this week so that might make things more interesting. Louie is the captian this week. He didn't want to be. He said it tends to make people not like you afterwards. Their 'bounty' was quite small, only $5,000. I think he equally divided it like Azmyth. But he got JDs moneythat he paid for the pardon.

I've given up 'On the lot'. It just isn't worth watching. Plus the website is very slow to get into.

What do you all think of Rosi O' Donells quest to get the job on Price is right? I think she would try to make it 'her' show rather that a game show.

Pirate master is the only reality show I've been watching, this summer. I'm not crazy about it. Kinda boring.

I hope Big Brother is good, this year.

I still haven't caught Hell's Kitchen. I think I'd like it..sounds mean..LOL!

Oh, HK is so mean. It is very harsh but constructed to help them improve their skills. I enjoy seeing those that take action and those that crumble.

I too am looking forward to BB. It will give me something to watch several nights a week.

There is so much nothing going on in summertime. I know I won't be at the beach or anywhere but home. So it is important that I have my computer, tv, crochet and of course sudoku to keep me occupied.
