Default WOO HOO New Wheels

I probably sound a little loopy being so excited about a new car, but the last NEW vehicle we bought was in 1986. We have had used cars but not brand spanking new.

My Land Rover was definitely a DNR [Do Not Resuscitate] and I convinced DH it was not worth his time to fix it so we were off to get me some new wheels.

After much shopping, which was so exhausting for me, we bought a 2007 GMC Envoy.

I had a hard time explaining to the salesmen that yes a Chevy TrailBlazer is basically the same truck BUT the Envoy handles & rides much better and I wanted an Envoy.

In this day and age, why the salesmen won't listen to a woman is beyond me and very aggravating!! DH was amazing and kept telling the guy, SHE knows cars and SHE knows what she wants!!

It is so easy to get into with my bum leg and I my power chair or scooter will fit without DH having to lift it very high into the cargo area, until the lift is installed.

I can get in the cargo area without having to lift the entire back door, the window opens separately.
I am having fun trying out all the bells & whistles, plus it is an elegant looking deep maroon metallic paint which is beautiful, not the usual silver, pale gold, black or blue.

Even though it is Super Bowl Sunday, DH & I may take a ride to the shore, plus the weather here is gorgeous and supposed to hit 52! Gonna start working on my tan!!

I am ready for some football!!!!
