Hi Sandy,
Just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and your Mom and praying for an uneventful day tomorrow. It will all be done and over with soon and you can breathe a sigh of relief (along with the rest of us). Please keep us updated tomorrow - what time is the surgery? We'll all be looking for the post that tells us everything is fine!

The surgery is over and mom is doing fine. The neuro surgeon said the tumor looked benign just as he suspected and that everything went perfect during the surgery. She will be spending the night in ICU and then go to a regular room tomorrow. I had a chance to speak with her before we left and she said she was tired and had a headache. They still have her in recovery waiting for a room. We plan to go back later this afternoon once she is settled.
Jim is very tired today and stayed at the hotel with our dog. He is running a small temp but says he feels fine. We were supposed to go out to eat with my brothers but I think we'll just stay in and order out. Thank goodness his doctor gave me a back up antibiotic just in case this very thing happened. Ok, I have to go. I am riding with my brother to get his daughter in a few. Thanks for your prayers and support. They definitely worked! If I seem jumbled with my words please pardon that. I have been up since 4:30am and I am about to fall out. :-) Hugs! Sandy

I'm so glad everything went well for your Mom. Great news on the tumor looking benign. I know your Mom is glad this surgery is behind her and she can now concentrate on recovering and getting stronger. I know this has been hard on you and Jim as well as on your whole family. Take some time to relax now and get some sleep. Worrying can take a toll on you for sure. Keep us posted on things - I'm so glad things went well.
