When the wind picks up, I can barely see the houses behind us. Definitely not driving weather here. Snow already half way up to the porch. Can't believe I could see the grass just a few days ago.

A very good day to stay inside.

To everyone that is getting hit with this snow I wish you the best of
luck.
Don't over do it with the shoveling. You don't want to get hurt.

I guess I am the lucky one. Here on the Jersey Shore, Central part we
just got high winds and very hard rain. North Jersey got snow. I have been
very lucky this winter only once did we get enough snow that my neighbor
came over with his snow blower to clear me out.

I do remember winters when we were struck in the house for days. The
weather is changing all over. Mother Nature is going in circles.

Take care everyone and be careful.

Jappy

Ohio, from Cinncinnati to Cleveland is one big snowbank. .. Pupper poohed on the screened-in-patio.. We have at least a foot outside my front window and more expected.

I'm OK for now....Heat, TV and Puter are working and I have food (thanks to Schwans)..

Yes the Weather is all about Ohio and the East Coast storms. I believe by Sunday, we may see some sun and by the end of the week, it's supposed to reach up in the 40s..Yeaaaaaa!!!

Everyone stay safe....and warm..

Just woke up from a nap and yep, it's snowing harder than when I laid down. Had to do another round of shoveling but I laughed and told DH to notice how each time I go out to shovel a path for the furkids the path is smaller? It better stop soon or they're in trouble. If there was ever a time I wished that I litter trained my dogs it would be now.

DM, hope this storm continues to stay away from you and everyone else. It's a nasty little bugger. Jappy, I so wished this was rain instead of snow, even though we've already had problems with flooding and waters are still extremely high.

Like Sally said, the heat, TV and 'puter are working and I have enough food to survive ATM. Now, if the power goes out, I will not be responsible for my actions.

I'm betting Brain has lost her internet connection though. Brain, are you out there?

Amazing! High winds, forties and spring like in Alaska. Our weather is blowing UP from Hawaii this week...The Pineapple Belt

Someone was talking about snow forts or caves. We have warnings every year as children like to build these caves in the big snow berms adjacent to their property. Then the big snow graters come by, pushing that berm...you get the idea....very dangerous! Make sure you build it away from the road

Dreaming of spring up yonder

I hope you guys are doing well with all your snow! If you don't want it, send it this way. My daughter did get to play in the snow this morning (we got some not as much as we were supposed to) but now all we have is sleet. We would love more snow.
